So please keep in mind that I am aware that this is a motorcycle helmet for under $60. The vents/channels on the top have visible gaps. So whether or not the vents are closed, the glue work of the actual channel is so poor that air gets through the gaps. The plastics in the cheek pads are sharp and scratch against my face as I put it on. The D-rings feel like cheap keychain rings and the plastic that the visor is made of is so weak that you can feel it flex when you open/close it with one hand. I've tried to forget about these issues b/c of the price, but I can't justify it when Bilt has helmet(s) on Amazon for the same price point and are much better in quality. Definitely going to be returning this.

Bought two of these helmets. It protects like it says. Already had a fall and protected me as I would hope. Mind you, I was going less than 25mph when my tumble happened but the front part of my face would've smacked the ground and the front shield took that blow and came out unscathed. The shield is easy to remove but difficult to find a perfect replacement in another type such as a dark tinted one. I thought the shield would be smoke but it is a clear shield. The vents are ok... They open and close as expected. The black matte finish is nice. The only con I have so far is the initial smell of the helmet. Once that new factory smell wears off the helmet is a high B for me.

Good value. Sturdy snd not cheap feeling or looking. This is a nice helmet, it a bit difficult to get on. You have to pull the straps out on both sides, then slide it on your head. Once on however it's comfortable and I really like the air vents that can be opened and closed on the helmet. When not riding it gets warm pretty fast in warm/hot weathers. The fogging of the visor was not bad when closed and no fogging at all if the visor was cracked open a bit. I would recommend this helmet.

I bought the rose helmet for my daughter to ride with me. Her middle name is Rose. I should have looked closer at all the pictures (shame on me). I really don't like skulls. Why? What do they represent?. The helmet is well made and fits very well. It is sturdy and tight. The buckle is easy to use and remove. It is very well padded. It compares very well to another high end helmet I own. I'm sure it conforms to all applicable DOT safety standards. Structurally, it is great. Visually, I find it a let down. Skulls. Really?

Have only used it once so far since purchase. I bought this because I ride, I don't own my own motorcycle yet. Bought it because it was cheap and I knew it would do what I needed it to. Things I dislike: There is no padding for your chin, there is a lot of air flow causing it to be very loud inside the helmet when going over 35 mph. I ordered an XL, usually what I fit with other brands of helmets but this one is a tight squeeze to put on, but once it's on it is fairly comfortable. The shield does not stay up or lock. When going through towns, I like to have my helmet open, this does not let me. Things I like: Cheap, figured it would have issues like above because of the price. I have grown to like the clasp for the strap.

As the riding season gets underway, my wife decided she wanted her motorcycle license and in preparation of her taking the riding course I bought her this helmet, I believe a Medium. Fast forward to 50+ hours of her riding with it, she absolutely loves it. The fit, the style, the matte black... Its genuinely wonderful. All of the simple things such as style, comfort and quality are all spectacular. As I finish this review Ill be looking at getting myself a new helmet (if they carry XXXL B-). Nevertheless if you're looking for a quality helmet whether beginner or experienced, this helmet checks every mark and then some!

I've been riding with this helmet for about a month now, I got it as a last minute cheap buy so I had a full face helmet to go for long rides.. it does let some wind through even when all the vents are closed.. the only real issue I've found with it, is that unless I'm moving. Even as slow as a walk, I cant have the face shield down without it fogging.. kinda inconvenient when you come to a stop for a light or traffic.... other than that, I completely recommend this helmet... the face shield is so clear I dont even realize its down sometimes...

The media could not be loaded. Great helmet for the priceIt is very comfortable, fits perfectly. Ive only worn it a few times to try it on and use it for the course. I may have over looked it in the description but found it cool that it glows in the dark lol. Reason for the 4 stars is cause the glue or whatever was used to secure everything popped loose after 1 day of use not to excited about that since i was gonna use a BT with it. But it would make a good helmet for a back up or till you can get a different one.
