When I opened my new suit cases the suitcase had bugs in it. Freaked me out because I don't know what types of bugs they are and also I'm not sure if they are new now. I did not order used suitcases. I'm also now spaying my furniture and rugs for bugs because I'm not sure if there are any live bugs

The listed price at the time of writing this review is $69.99. This is a 3-piece set, and I have to say that I am impressed with it. As we all know, decent luggage and luggage sets are quite expensive these days. Especially any type of hard-shell luggage, which this is. The main suitcase is hardcase, with 360-degree spin wheels, 2-way smooth zipper, 3-height adjustable handle, a carrying handle, and it has a built-in TSA approved lock. It has the expandable area at the zipper line so that you can really pack a ton into it and still be able to zip it shut. The zippers are great quality, I do not foresee them wearing out very easily. This one suitcase alone is plenty of space for one person, like me. Of course, in this set, you also receive a carry-on sized tote bag and then a large toiletries bag. The carry-on sized tote bag is made of a thick canvas like material. It will protect whatever items you have in there. The toiletries bag will fit into this duffle/tote bag easily. I think this is a good value set. Obviously, you can't compare it to several hundred-dollar pieces of luggage. You're getting 3 pieces here for under a hundred dollars. That's a steal. But you also get what you pay for. This would be fine for a single person that does not overpack. But, if you're packing for more than one person, or you know that you overpack, then you need to consider investing a pretty penny on your luggage. This works for me, luggage to carry just my stuff on a simple road trip or quick trip.

I want to give 4.5 but since I can not, 4 it is. I have never had a hard shell suitcase but have been looking to get one. They always say compliment first then criticize. My positives are: Great size of each bag. More than enough space to travel for a few days. Spinning wheels. And four large ones Combination lock to keep out others Smooth zipper Now the criticism: For a hard shell suitcase it is not solid. I have tried many that had zero ‘give’ to the top. With this top I was able to ‘twist’ it by holding the to of the lid with one hand and the bottom with my other hand pushing down with one hand and pulling up with the other. When I did this it should not move. I did this because when I unzipped it the top did not stay solid, it actually gave way. As long as if traveling by air it goes with you in the overhead compartment I think you will be good. Now if it’s getting thrown around over time it probably will get a dent. For what this set costs I do believe it is worth it.

First I have to say the luggage set looks beautiful. It's a light color so we'll see how mark and stain resistant they are over time. But they sure start off looking great. Zip close hard side bags seem to be the new standard. The inside organization is pretty much standard fare. There are two main compartments separated by a mesh cover which zips into place on one side and clip together elastic cross straps which secure items on the other side. The interior mesh and zippers work well for their purpose here. The main zipper is pretty heavy duty though there is a little play in the top and bottom luggage sections when zipped. Some movement is going to exist with a soft seal connection. The TSA locking device for the zipper tabs works perfectly. The combination is easy to set. The wheels on each piece are double wheel design which turn and roll easier than the single wheel designs. At full extension of the retractable handle the luggage moves easily on a variety of likely airport surface conditions. The long side of the bag has a handle which allows easier control for loading. The opposite side of the case from the handle are extended feet which should keep the luggage off of damp or wet surfaces if set on the side. Overall, this is an attractive luggage set which should stand up to years of travel.
