  • Very stylish and functional
Configuration: Sunglasses Style: Black Sprinter
I’m very impressed with this version of smart frames. The partnership with Carrera also works. The sunglasses look great and nobody can tell they are anything other than regular sunglasses while I’m wearing them. Here are a few impressions after a couple of weeks of wearing them: Audio: sound quality is very good. It lacks bass when compared to AirPods Pro but you are not wearing anything in your ear, which is very nice. At mid volume, nobody around you can hear music or your calls. If you put at full volume, people about 3 ft away can hear a faint sound. 8/10 Call quality: just like the audio above, the quality is very good. The mic is clear and it filters ambient sounds better than my AirPod Pros. Given this is also an Alexa device, that’s good news. 10/10 Functionality: I must say, I can’t work the buttons on the frame too well (big fingers) but I’m yet to need them. You put the glasses on and they just work. If you need to adjust anything like volume, you just ask Alexa. It controls your phone, opening certain apps. More functional than Siri with AirPods. I was able to make/change appointments, get directions, calls people and get answers using just voice. 10/10 Privacy: I’m glad Amazon didn’t go the Meta/Rayban route and kept this without cameras. I’d not like to walk around with a camera pointed to everyone. When the mic is recording voice, you see a blue light on the corner of your eye. Very nice to check when it’s on, without being intrusive. While it has a mute button for Alexa, I’m yet to consistently find it while I’m wearing the glasses. 9/10 Charging: it comes with a very weird looking wireless stand. It takes a could of tries to figure out how to out the glasses on it. It’s nice charging is all wireless, it works for hours (with calls and listening to music) without need to recharge (I have not done a full battery life test yet). I wish it had a more mainstream charger but not a dealbreaker. 8/10 Quality: I got the Carrera version and it’s a very high quality and stylish product. It fits nicely, lightweight, and looks the part. 10/10 Overall: given the price, quality and functionality, I’d give this a 9/10. ... show more

  • Do Yourself a Favor—Avoid These Overpriced Paperweights!
Configuration: Blue light filtering Style: Black Sprinter
The media could not be loaded. I cannot emphasize this enough—DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on these glasses. I’ve now purchased TWO pairs of these Carrera glasses, each costing around $400, and both have been absolute disasters. The first pair worked well for about 4 months. I used them daily as blue light blockers for work, especially during Teams calls. At the end of each shift, I carefully mounted them on the charger—same process, every single day. Then, one random day, I put them on the charger and got a blinking red light. No matter how I tried to adjust them, clean the contacts, or remount them, the red light persisted. For $400, I expected more than 4 months of use. But here’s where it gets even worse—I returned the first pair under their 1-year warranty (thankfully). I figured I’d give them another shot, hoping I just got a bad unit. BIG MISTAKE. The replacement pair came dead on arrival. Right out of the box, I mounted them on the charger, and guess what? Same blinking red light. Out of the box! Completely unusable. At this point, it’s clear that this is a design flaw, not a fluke. For a premium price tag, these glasses should function without constant headaches. Instead, I’ve had two pairs fail, with one pair lasting a mere 4 months and the other being DOA. Meanwhile, I’ve owned $50 glasses that have lasted years and performed just as well for blue light blocking, microphone, and sound. Do yourself a favor and avoid these overpriced paperweights. I regret ever giving them a second chance, and you’ll save yourself time, frustration, and money by steering clear of this unreliable product. If I could give these less than one star, i absolutely would! ... show more

  • Very good functionality and looks. Nose bridge measurements inaccurate
Configuration: Sunglasses Style: Black & Gold Cruiser
I have a wide nose bridge and got these based on a measurement that I know works for my nose. But they don’t fit properly. I had to buy separate padding to make them stay well positioned on my face while I walk. That padding had to be custom cut to fit, and it’s now fallen off twice. It’s fixable but annoying. Otherwise, these work very well for both music and phone calls, and they look really premium too. Just be mindful of the nose bridge measurements, and if they don’t fit comfortable after you walk, return them early. ... show more

They work great! I bought these for my husband and he really liked them! I bought them since he hikes and before he would wear headphones 🎧 but then he was not able to be aware of his surroundings, with this glasses he is able to listen his music or answer the phone without making him unaware of what's going on at o und him! • Beautiful Shades
Configuration: Sunglasses Style: Black & Gold Cruiser
The black navigators with the touch of gold is a nice look. The smart glasses were easy to setup with the Alexa app. Managing the charging stand separate from the case is a bit cumbersome. As for the operation of the smart glasses, the sound has been great but I haven’t used them in a noisy environment. That said, I’m happy with my purchase. ... show more

Thank you. I will send questions to Alexa when I have the glasses and the equipment fully charged at the safe time.

  • The charger is not good. I have to put it many times.
Configuration: Blue light filtering Style: Black Sprinter
The battery is not last longer but I have to keep it because I put my eye prescription on it.
