    • Best stereo for most German cars
(Honest review) This stereo is very great! This product will make you feel OEM in every way. The size fits my 2014 Passat very nicely, although I noticed color different when the sun is directly hitting the stereo, but it looks OEM almost all the time. The touch functionality is very moderate and nice. Super responsive, not like other stereos which lagg or just have to press harder on the touch screen. Both Carplay and Android Auto are supported!!! Believe me its verrrrrry comfortable not having to mount your phone or look at when you have google maps on you screen with directions and everything. I haven’t tried Mirror Link yet but I will soon. I’m sad that the MDI port isn’t working anymore, but I found a way that involves soldering a new cable to the stereo it self and replace the MDI port with a better USB one. Also, I couldn't change track via steering wheel before, but the new stereo (RCS360) supports the steering wheel buttons, so I can change music without reaching my phone. I got a GreeYi backup camera as well. It was cheap and had decent price to it. However, I would go for something better if I can. Honestly, I ordered the product from Amazon only because I’m not patient when waiting for something exciting as this. But If time wasn’t the story and price is more important. I’d suggest going to Ebay. I’m sure you can find a package that has the stereo and the camera together + cables The cables alone are another story. FYI, I installed both the stereo and the camera my self. There are bunch of Youtube videos that show you how to exactly do it. However, since this was the first time I install something my self in a car, I had really hard time with the camera not the Stereo. The stereo was a plug and play very eaazzzzzy. I ended up going to a shop to finish the camera but I only paid for 25 minutes worth of time. Cause I already did everything from extending cables to the trunk to wire taping. However, I would recommend a professional to install it for you to get the best results To install radio: Just plug and play To install camera on this stereo: Expect a lot of work + you have to ensure that you get a delay timer box (relay filter) or you could call it just a capacitor if you know a thing or two about circuits. Or you can buy the box separately just make sure you have it with the camera. Also, the stuff you might need are: 22 gauge cables, t taps or soldering experience, fuse tapper, and lastly, lots and lots of Youtube videos to watch. ... show more

PLUG AND PLAY!!!!! Very exciting to not have to do a bunch or soldering to change radios. Literally fit perfect, trim looks perfect, Apple Car Play works perfect, I’m really happy with it. My only complaint is when I’m listening to music it does a little skip thing or cuts out for a second every now and then, it’s not the end of the world but for a brand new radio it kind of sucks :( If you put this in and it starts up and works but you don’t get any sound you just need to unplug your car battery and wait a few minutes then plug it back in, that fixed mine. ... show more
