This stuff smells amazing. However, this acts/feels more like an ointment than it does a traditional deodorant. You just apply a thin layer and spread evenly, it dries in minutes, and lasts all day. With continuous use, this does minimize the amount of sweat that comes from your armpits. No irritation to the skin, so good for those with sensitive skin such as myself. So I have no issues with the product itself. It does exactly as promised. I have had issues with other deodorants making me smell worse than I even typically smell. I’ve had issues with deodorants causing my underarms to break out with little bumps everywhere. I’ve had issues with antiperspirants causing lumps in my armpit & causing burning sensations. Carpe doesn’t cause any of that. I have fresh smelling armpits 24/7. Through all my gym sweats.. my armpits are dry. I will say it does leave a little residue sometimes, but that’s such an easy fix. My biggest issue is that I use very little amount & yet one deodorant doesn’t last me long. The price is pretty expensive for it to not last longer even with the small amount I use. I don’t think the entire stick is full of product.. I think it’s probably about half the stick. So if you look at how much you pay for how much you get.. THAT is my problem & why I took a star off. This deodorant is the only one that works for me & doesn’t cause any underarm issues so I do pay the price, but I try to buy bulk when there’s a sale cause at least that way it’s more for your money. I try to apply at night and in am, but some nights I don’t apply & only apply in am & I still get fresh results every time. I do recommend this deodorant to my family/friends but I do mention the price part because some people pay less for something that works for them so if that’s the case, I’m not going to stop them from saving their $! ... show more

The deodorant works reasonably well and has a pleasant coconut vanilla scent. It provides decent odor protection for everyday use and goes on smoothly without feeling sticky. However, I feel it is overpriced for what you get. The protection is good but not significantly better than less expensive brands, and the scent doesn’t last as long as expected. First, my 5 stars are for the product itself. I’ve been using carpe for a few years now and absolutely will not change deodorants. I’m an avid sweater, whether it’s because of weather, stress, nervousness etc, I’m sweating. Carpe not only helps me not sweat in my underarms, but also keeps me smelling fresh all day. My second set of 5 stars goes to who handles the shipping. I received my 3-pack of carpe completely empty in my mailbox, which is super upsetting because it was $50! I messaged them explaining the situation and they were very apologetic and sent a replacement right away. Shockingly amazing! I had to buy this secretly because my mother is anti-stick deodorant but most deodorants I was able to get away with using (spray: Dove, Degree, Secret) didn’t work. I even used the Secret gel stick. Not much. Nivea was the only deodorant that worked for me… until I bought Carpe. A little surely goes a long way. I don’t use more than a dime size at most and a bit over a pea-size at minimum. I am surviving the NC summer heat and humidity without smelling funky or having any stains. I heard that white casts and irritation were common but I had no issues with any stickiness, skin irritation, or anything. I wish I didn’t have to screw the bottle to the lowest so it wouldn’t leak a little but that’s whatever. I still have a lot. I use it only once a day, no issues! I love Carpe and I do hope more people are lucky like me. I only sweat excessively beneath my armpits and it was difficult arguing with my family members who don’t sweat much. Even my brother had degree work for him, but not me 😔. But Carpe is great! I 100% recommend! ... show more

    • Great product, but a little sketchy

I love this product. I’ve been using it for over a year now and it’s helped so much. Before using it I dealt with horribly sensitive skin and bad BO. It smells good and lasts forever. Now I rarely smell even if I forget to put on deodorant for a couple days. I switched to this because they always seemed to be having great sales and they would include bonus products. I also love their underarm scrub which has pretty much fixed my sensitive sink. It use to be so bad I couldn’t shave unless I wanted a painful rash. The reason it’s a bit sketchy is the packaging, price, and subscription. The packaging has seemed to get cheaper since I started using it. I usually order 3 at a time and I’m pretty sure I had one order where none of the twist things actually worked. I’d have to spin them till they popped out a bit and then I would push it to force the product up. The price is also a bit outrageous for how little product you get and the cheap packaging. It’s a bit better on the website with the sales, but I refuse to use the website as they will sign you up for an automatic subscription. I get wanting to make money, but it sucks they seem to be giving up on quality in the process. I will continue to buy it because it seems to be the only thing that works for me, but I will be on the hunt for something new! ... show more
