The price of the cleaners is decent for what you are getting. You don't need to use much to get the job done properly so it will definitely last a while. The pan looks brand new after using all 3 of the products as intended. If you have cast iron this is definitely the cleaner to get. Works extremely well. When I run out will probably buy it again.

I wanted to start using my cast iron pans more but the old oil was thick and “sticky” and ruining so much steel wool/sponges/etc. to get them clean and all I was doing was moving the “gunk” around my pans. When I got my Caron & Doucet box, my pans cleaned up sssssssoooooooo nice and I can’t wait to use my cast iron pans on a daily/weekly basis. Y’all have restored my confidence in my cast iron cookware. And I absolutely love the rosemary scent in the soap and the scent of the oil (can’t place the scent but smells amazingly wonderful).

This is an amazing set for keeping cast iron in tip top shape. Hubby has also started using these on his blackstone grill and they worked just as good for him too. The lemon smell for the soap and scrub makes using these a delight. The scrub and soap leave no funky taste or smell once rinsed from the pan. I use the scrub first, but I use less than the recommended amount on the bottle and add more if the pan still needs it. I use a chain mail cleaning tool along with the scrub and know when to job is done the pan is smooth and most of the scrub has dissolved in the little bit of warm water that was in the pan. The amount of water will depend on the size of the pan but I typically add about enough to not even cover the entire base of the pan. Rinse and then go to next step. I follow this up with a small amount of soap and a wet sponge. Again just adding enough water to aid the soap but not dilute it so much it becomes ineffective. Rinse and then throughly dry the pan. I use about a 1/4 tsp of oil to do my entire 13 inch frying pan with a small piece of paper towel. Once this is done my pans look like the well loved cast iron pans they are without losing the hard earned seasoning they deserve. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is the size. For the price these size are small. The scrub and soap will go first and if I would have used the recommended amounts I would have run out very quickly even if hubby wouldn’t have used it. While I would like to get more, until the price comes down I will have to find something else.

This trio works perfectly. The soap and and iron scrub cleaned my cast iron skillet so quickly. I used to use just the chain but with these products and the chain everything was cleaned off so quickly. Would definitely recommend to others with a cast iron skillet.
