We decided to try one more Caroma board, and it was the right call - this one has been working great ever since. My brother zips around campus on this smooth rider. With a 350W motor, it reaches speeds up to 12 mph with a max 11-mile range per charge. It charges up quickly and has been a reliable performer. I use it for quick trips to the deli, I prefer to use this over electric scooter due to how light and portable it is I can bring in store easier. The trips are quick less then 10 mins but battery life has been great haven't needed to charge it in a week. Never needed to go maximum speed yet as it's usually fast enough and I weight 190lbs. ... show more

I always wanted to try the skateboard but never had chance to try or perhaps the fear of falling off the classic skateboard. Finally, I have decided to get electrical skateboard thinking I can control speed and perhaps the motion to control as well. My 10 year old couldn’t wait to get on it. Finally, day came, and unboxing begun. The box was heavy. The skateboard caries batteries and motor/s that must put into consideration of weight. The board was well packed, no damages. Out the box, board looked slick and big. Because I never owned or used one, I didn’t realize how big these boards are. Manual is small but in reality, there is no much tech there. Just plug, charge and play. Remote is basic and easy to use. The only tricky part is braking. The break is hard stop. So, if you are moving 20 miles per hr and pressed break and don’t adjust your body for it, you will fly forward. Be very careful. Breaking training required. The skateboard/perhaps remote, has 3 speeds. Slow, Med, and High. I have learned that my speeds as newbie, Low and Mid. High speed has a lot acceleration and board may start wobble. My son and I fall of the board a few times because of those reasons. I do not recommend using High speed function unless you are well trained skateboard rider. I found the adjusting nubs on each side will increase tightness and perhaps wobble at higher speed may decrease but the turning radius will also decrease. Must make compromise somewhere. After few falls and scratches my son and I kind of addicted to it. Would I recommend this board? Absolutely, just make sure you wear protection safety gear or you will get hurt. ... show more

For context, I am not a skateboarder and a complete newbie. I took it out riding and to my surprise, I noticed the skateboard rides very smooth and it feels very high quality. I was very intimidated by the speed as I have never ridden an electric skateboard, but once I got comfortable I adjusted it from M to L mode and was a little disappointed that it doesn’t go much faster. I didn’t realize 12 MPH can feel very slow but to a younger child or adult this may be plenty. As for the remote fell short and feels like a very cheap, light weight, plastic remote. I expected a heavier remote and be made of a nicer material perhaps a metal of some sort. There’s also no fastener on the rope around the wrist which seemed odd as I would expect it have one given this can fly off your wrist during travel. It’s a small detail but something I noticed. TL;DR I’m not a skateboarder, but I am impressed with the quality of this electric skateboard. The skateboard is well made and the mechanics of turning left and right feels very smooth. A bonus point was the skateboard was already charged out of the box, but the remote wasn’t so I had to wait a bit before trying it out of the box. Overall, a very solid purchase for the price. If I were to make any upgrades I would increase the overall speed and upgrade the quality of the remote (and also charge the remote). ... show more

Product worked for about one month a purchase. Corona customer service is horrible. Only wants to send parts out to fix it which didn’t work. Would not replace it! Don’t by from this seller or you’ll be sorry!
