The media could not be loaded. Came complete with battery charged. Controls are easy to use and board has a smooth ride. It turns well right out of the box, not stiff at all. Ive only taken it out a couple times but seems to be a good beginner board. I think I exceed the weight limit but it held up well. Im not sure about the range, it only made it about 3 miles but again, I am over the recommended weight by about 10kg If you are looking for a board to racing your friends, this is probably not for you but it will be good for cruising around campus and still fun to ride. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I've been skating my whole life and have always thought that it would be awesome to have a skateboard that powered itself. When I was younger no such thing existed. I was at a local park one day when I saw someone riding a skateboard but they weren't powering it with their feet. Imagine my surprise when I went home and looked up electric skateboards. My mind was blown. There were so many options. Some of them were really expensive. I decided to try my luck on a "value" option and hoped to get just a simple toy. I bought this Caroma skateboard and what I received blew me away. This thing is awesome! It's super simple to use. In my video you can see how easy it is to turn it on, and cycle through the three different speed options. The way that it intelligently brakes also saves you from abrupt stops. I took it out today and went about 5 miles on it and it still had battery left to go more. The deck is high quality. The trucks and wheels can be easily tuned using the provided multitool. I like my trucks tight so the first thing I did was tighten them up a bit. It took me about a minute to dial it in, and then I was ready to go. I also love that it has an integrated carrying handle, making it easy to pick up and walk inside a business or to store it somewhere. I bought this hoping to get a couple hours of amusement but this thing is built to last. I can't wait to get out and ride it some more. ... show more

I bought this skateboard for my son in college in July. It worked 1 time and then the battery would not charge. I returned it for a replacement. He has had the second skateboard for about 3 months. His class is about 1/2 mile from his dorm. He makes it to class but the battery runs out on the way back. He is charging it multiple times a day. Piece of junk. ... show more

Very high-quality board. I bought this for my son’s 15th birthday, and he loves it. The battery last long and he enjoys riding to and from school. I love it too because it saves me time and gas money when I don’t have to drop him to and from school every day! The space/hole on the side makes it easy to carry. I just started using electric skateboards this year. I found it pretty easy to use this skateboard after a couple of trials, and the long length and width made it easier for me to balance myself. By the way, if it is your first time riding a 700W skateboard I would advise you to start on the "low" option as the thrust on "High" is pretty powerful- you will see the benefit of this on hills. I am very impressed with my electric skateboard's performance, especially given the price. This product is definitely paying the value. I commute to my classes and this make a 20-minute walking trip into 5 minutes. The battery takes about 5-6 trips to get from full to empty which does the job for me. I also like the fact that you can choose the speed of your skateboard. It also comes with a compact fixing set which can sometimes come in handy. The handle on the skateboard makes it easier to carry and also prevents you from getting your hand hurt on the non-slip deck. ... show more

Almost immediately the skateboard stopped charging and had to be sent back. For whatever reason, I had to pay more money out of my own pocket to send a defective product back instead of Amazon or the seller covering the return shipping. The product was shipped more than 3 weeks ago and I've heard nothing from the seller. Not really happy with this and looks like I'll have to initiate a chargeback with my bank to get any kind of resolution. Edit: skateboard was refunded on the 20th of December by seller.
