The 28 mile range is a joke maybe if you putter around at 2mph you get 8-10 miles if you go fast at all and when it's dead it's dead doesn't just slow down it stops going at all. Only thing that I can say are good are the brakes you better set them to the lowest setting or your going right off it as soon as you touch them. I recommend this product. It is great and fun to ride. Tough to ride at first but you get the hang of it after a few falls. It requires a great sense of balance and to keep your interest. I recommend a helmet and gloves. And my boy really enjoys it. He has a lot of experience on his skateboard and is glad he has it for a change from his regular skateboard.
