International Bestseller! Delectable Recipes to Launch Your Carnivore Lifestyle!Carnivore in the Kitchen is more than just a collection of recipes; it is an exploration of flavors, textures, and cooking creativity!Burgers, rib eyes, and brisket are tasty and satisfying, but they’re not the only way to pack a carnivore diet with nutrients. In Carnivore in the Kitchen, popular TikTok creator Courtney Luna shares her approach to making a meat-centric way of eating exciting and sustainable. This is more than a cookbook. It begins with a deconstruction of popular meat-based diets—the lion diet, the more traditional carnivore-style diet, and the broader animal-based diet—to help you differentiate between them and empower you to carve out a dietary path that works with your preferences and lifestyle.Courtney follows this overview with chapters devoted to helping you start your carnivore journey, offering tips for setting up your kitchen and stocking your fridge, freezer, and pantry. She also provides curated meal plans and grocery lists, which take the stress out of answering everyone’s favorite question, “What’s for dinner?” The carnivore lifestyle can work for the whole family, and in a section devoted to an animal foods–based diet for kids (which also includes fruit), Courtney explains how to emphasize nutrition without demonizing foods. She keeps one foot grounded in traditional carnivore practice by explaining the basics of preparing different cuts of meat, which helps you build your confidence in the kitchen. Then she takes you beyond the conventional with recipes that offer a more expansive range of flavors but are still 100 percent carnivore friendly. The recipes ensure guilt-free nourishment without grains, gluten, sweeteners, or vegetables, but for those who want a hint of “naughtiness,” she offers a bit of indulgence with optional vanilla, cinnamon, and other seasonings. You’ll be able to let your carnivore spirit run wild with recipes likeBreakfast Meatballs Smoked Salmon Blinis Creamy Sausage Soup Hidden Liver Burgers White Lasagna Carnivore Cinnamon Rolls Whether you are carnivore diet devotee or are just looking to try something new, Carnivore in the Kitchen encourages experimentation and innovation by inspiring you to go beyond traditional meat dishes and discover new preparations and flavor combinations you never thought possible! • Finally a Carnivore Cookbook that GETS IT
Format: Paperback
I received my cookbook yesterday and I love everything about it. The book is filled with colored pages and beautiful photos of recipes. I'm sooo pleased because you can tell that the author has a family/kids and doesn't want to spend hours in a kitchen. Recipes are simple, creative, and very practical for serving families. I'm not a great cook, but these recipes seem super easy and delicious and SIMPLE. I already tried a few in the pre-release of recipes and they all turned out really great. Can I just say that I LOVE the recipe index of small images of the meals in one section of the book? This morning I turned to the index and told the family to point to what they want for breakfast, lunch then dinner. THAT'S what I'm talking about. Let's be honest, sometimes I just want to look at an image and run with it. I'm thinking about buying another one to rip out the pictures and make it into a booklet of images to hang from my fridge haha. Lastly, I love how the sections are split up - many people don't do a "breads" section but I thought that was genius. One suggestion for future (PLEASE consider another book!) is to add alternative ingredients - for instance, many recipes call for pork panko (which many in my family hate!) - calling out that you can use other ingredients (like chicken) would be great for newbies, but totally not a deal breaker. You can tell a lot of heart went into this and I'm grateful! ... show more

  • Easy and delicious recipes
Format: Paperback
There are so many wonderful and easy recipes. I bought another one for my daughter in law, and she says the same thing. We made the carnivore noodles together. It was a good bonding time, and the noodles were great! The corn dogs were so delicious! To be honest, i didn’t think they were going to be! But they really were! ... show more

  • Amazing Carnivore Cookbook!!
Format: Paperback
What can I say? Courtney is beyond amazing and definitely hit it out of the park with her book. Everyone (not just Carnivores) need to get this book. I've been Carnivore since May 2024, and have been following Courtney on YouTube all this time. She is one of my top favorite Carnivore influencers, for sure. Love her creativity, personality, and style, and all that definitely comes through in this book. I'll admit, when I first heard about her cookbook being released, I was going to buy it no matter what (and had pre-ordered it). However, I was blown away when it finally arrived on the release date. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING about it completely surpassed my expectations!! I love the beautiful photos, I that she shares her own story, and I love all the valuable information in the first chapter "Carnivore 101." Honestly, I had become one of those Carnivores who simply ate eggs, bacon, hamburger patties, and steak every single day and didn't see any need to mix things up. But, when I started looking through Courtney's book, I started getting excited to try all the recipes. She has helped me to get excited about cooking, being creative, and trying new things again. Obviously, I haven't tried all the recipes yet, but all of the ones I have tried have been AMAZING!! You have to try her English Muffins, especially with the sausage gravy. Ohhh, sooo good! And her bacon cheeseburger soup?...to die for! My next recipe will be her carnitas, and I can't wait! I also can't wait to make several of the "desserts" for Thanksgiving. I'm positive, the whole family will be surprised at how food can be so healthy and taste good at the same time. Oh, and another thing...all the recipes are so simple! But, don't misunderstand me - simple to make, but not simple in taste. Courtney, if you happen to read this review, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for all you do to help keep everyone healthy and have fun while doing it. Congrats on your first book! I'll be first in line when you write another one! ... show more

  • A good recipe book!
Format: Spiral-bound
I was very surprised by the excessive amount of salt used in recipes. Just use a sprinkle of salt in the recipes! There are a lot of pork recipes and pork panko. But there are a lot of other good recipes to cook with. Similar to all the published books of many years, the print is small and light. I used my prescription eye glasses and a magnifier to read the recipes. ... show more

  • What are you waiting for? Just buy it!
Format: Paperback
Truly, one of the best carnivore cookbooks I've ever purchased...And I have A LOT of them! These are kid friendly, adult friendly, easily sourced ingredients and great for everyday cooking - not just special occasion type recipes. I've had this cookbook since it came out a couple of years ago and we still use it on a very regular basis. We've made the Creamy Chicken Casserole so many times, that the book automatically opens to that recipe when I pick it up. :) ... show more
