The Carlisle 23 gallon Trimline trash can features a space saving design ideal for fitting into narrow spaces beside work tables, behind bars or anywhere that space is at a premium. The waste container protrudes less than 11 inches from the wall.The one-piece piece plastic construction is designed for heavy- duty commercial use. The smooth inside and rounded corners make cleaning and sanitizing easy. Corner tabs keep trash bags secure while molded in handles at the bottom make transporting and lifting easier.The Trimline waste bin is compatible with a variety of flat, swinging recycling lids (sold separately). An optionally dolly (sold separately) is available for efficient waste collection.The cans are BPA free, made in the USA and recyclable.This item does not read codes on diesel, Cadillac, Geo, Nova, and Sprint vehicles.

Bought this because I wanted an open garbage can next to my kitchen island that wouldn't take up too much space, wouldn't be visible from the other side of the island and wouldn't block the path around the island. The container does all that. The 23 gallon container comfortably holds a week's worth of my waste as well, so unless you have a bustling kitchen this should be sufficient for a week.     • Space saving recycling solution!
Perfect solution to something that previously drove me crazy. Btw I did figure out my typical 30 gal trash bags aren't long enough to reach the bottom! So...not having a recycling service where we live + having a partner who mainlines Diet Coke = saving lots of cans (and other recyclables) to take to the transfer station in order to recycle them. Looking at the cans drove me crazy but I can't stand being wasteful by throwing away what could be recycled, despite the fact that my work hours make it hard for me to make these recycling trips. I wanted something as tall and thin as possible because we have limited space, but I also wanted it to hold AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. This seems to be a great option. I'm going to see how long it takes to fill up and I'm excited to have something easy I don't hate looking at to chuck recyclables into. I intended to order this trash can in the 15 gallon size but it must have defaulted to the 23gallon size when I picked black. I didn’t realize this until they arrived and were too big for the space. An expensive mistake since shipping them back cost 1/2 as much as the can itself. I can’t find a way to contact the company about this directly so this seems to be my only option. LOVE IT. Yes I love a garbage can. I was so tired of the standard kitchen 13 gallon van that held nothing. I was changing bags daily it seemed. This one is taller, skinner and holds so much more. Instead of daily changing we went 3 days on same bag!! That’s a big deal for me. It’s slimmer so doesn’t stick out as far width wise. Height is great. This turned out to be one of my favorite purchases. It is a narrow tall garbage can that does not take up a ton of space. It is pretty big so I can’t go in a cabinet or anything. It is the absolute perfect size for a narrow space in my kitchen between the oven and my cabinets. The counter top extends over it so we use it like a tall drawer for our recycling. I had searched for a long time for a can thin enough for the space yet tall enough to be functional. This was just what I was looking for (including the plastic swing top - separate item) to use next a work table in one of the rooms full of computers where I work at home. I was so tired of constantly taking out the trash in our old 13 gallon kitchen trash can. We bought this to fit into a closet and could not be happier. We use 30 gallon trash bags and love how long it takes to fill up.
