We roast Obsidian to perfectly preserve the delicate flavors, floral nuances and fruit sweetness that can be obscured in many dark roasts. This pure, unspoiled coffee is smooth to the finish, and heavy with flavors of juicy, luscious wild berries. It finishes with a decadent, bittersweet chocolate flourish. But once I moved back I really wanted that flavor again and that strength coffee. Mahogany is strong, it's strong in scent , strong in flavor , but remarkably smooth as well. I tried this when it was on sale at a local grocery store. I was surprised how much I liked it. I thought I was a forever Starbucks lover, but not anymore. This is my new favorite K-cup. I feel the roast quality is better giving it a richer taste. I love using K-cups now and felt this was a great value for the money. The media could not be loaded. Caribou Coffee's Daybreak Blend took over the spot as our must-have coffee, surpassing more famous names once we tasted it about a year ago. The light roast blend claims to be of the highest quality on the market. That's not our doing, but it sure took over in our household. We prefer to purchase it in a 96-count K-Cup quantity, as a single serving is likely the least expensive option among others. Besides, we're going to drink it, so we can pay less per cup than we do when ordering other brands or even paying more for fewer Caribou. Also, a coffee drinker doesn't like to run out unexpectedly. I purchased the “crowd pleaser” medium roast —- This coffee use to be my absolute favorite: and then, something changed about it… it doesn’t smell or taste how it use to. Honestly, last time I purchased this from here (and everywhere honestly) — it was terrible! BUT this time it was so good!
