Exactly as you expect! Sturdy, soft lining inside, Carhart quality all around. The size is also perfect to hold my oversized wallet/clutch, phone, several lipglosses and balms, other misc like gum, hand sanitizer, every girls favorite trusty wife-knike, keys, and it even fits my 30oz emotional support water bottle with some room left over for snacks or gummies or whatever you might need to bring along on your adventure. Or your kids adventure I guess. *sigh* Only way to improve this baby is to change out the snaps for magnets so you don't have to bother with fumbling with snapping it and can still have some security instead of having it just flapping behind you like a pickpockets flag. ... show more

I don't enjoy carrying a purse, to me it's extra bulk to keep track of. But it's a necessity. I really like this purse because it has enough pockets inside to sort out what I need to carry so I can confidently open and quickly find what I need. It's snap closer allows for convenience of closing the purse while it's on my shoulder no looking for the right buckle or slipping a magnet closure back and forth hoping for a catch. Bonus is that it's actual Carhartt material so I don't have to hide it in the rain or snow to protect it or the contents. ... show more

Nice simple bag. It has a slimmer line and works easy and comfortable as a crossbody. Straps can be shortened and carried also. Front pocket is pretty worthless. Not sure what it is for. Wish there was a full size outer pocket to slip things in quickly when traveling, like phone, eBook, papers, etc. Snaps are solid.
