my son has beaten this backpack up for two years now, and besides one tear, I think it has a few good years left in it. I do wish it was a little wider to accommodate a few more of his binders, but we've adjusted. part of the reason we bought this was the two deep side pockets so he could hold his pens, pencils, and a water bottle. sometimes, it's stuffed too full to hold the water bottle in the side pocket, but its still great Carhatt quality. the front pockets don't have any impact protection, which i would appreciate, but there are two of them, adding to the storage space. ... show more
