  • Carhartt Gloves Review
Size: Large (Pack of 1) Color: Black/Grey
These gloves fit well (size Large) and look great. They are warm and waterproof. They do a good job keeping hands warm in windy conditions. They can be adjusted at the wrists too. Flexible enough to be comfortable at all times.

  • Great solid warm gloves
Size: 2X-Large (Pack of 1) Color: Black
I like almost everything about these gloves. They are sturdy and they are warm. I especially like that they are long enough to extend up my wrists just a bit, so there is no gap between the gloves and my coat. A bonus is that there is a small clip, so the gloves can be joined together when you aren't wearing them. I only have two small negatives. These gloves were listed as 2XL, but they are tight to pull on. I wouldn't say they are too small, but they are barely 2XL. The other thing is that the weather here has been extremely cold, getting down to 15 degrees below zero. When shoveling snow in those conditions, they could be a bit warmer. ... show more

  • Attn: Ladies
Size: Small (Pack of 1) Color: Black
Based on a lot of outside reviews, and one from the guy who bought about a gazzillion to compare(review ed this item) I bought this pair and two other Carhartt's - women's WA575 and the men's vintage cold snap.(haven't received the cold snap yet) I work outside in MT so it's cold and wet. While the ladies gloves are cute, and seem warm, I'm carrying around feed buckets, shoveling and general outdoor work. The ladies gloves would be for keeping in the truck or grocery shopping - not constructed for working. These (A511 Outdoor Waterproof) are AWESOME! A SMALL fits me perfectly, not too tight and I don't find the liner a bother at all because my hands don't sweat. I take a size 7 driving glove. What I like most about these gloves compared to the ladies is the fingers/palm material and fit. It's almost like it's meant to grab a bucket before I even break them in. They are also constructed of a sturdier material all over. For the price, these are a winner- simply can't go wrong. Even if I like the Vintage Cold snap, I'm keeping these. ... show more

  • Pretty good winter/snow gloves
Size: Medium (Pack of 1) Color: Black/Grey
I've only worn these for a day, but so far I'm relatively pleased. The main negatives I've almost instantly discovered are few. These are rather thick, insulated gloves, and lack any decent dexterity. I could hold my dogs leash but could barely grasp my house keys. I don't think they were advertised as touch screen ,but in case anyone thought they might be, they definitely are not. They are also not the easiest to adjust once on, and there is the tightening mechanism which needs to be adjusted once they are both on. I figured out that if I tighten it just enough that I can still fit my hand in it'll be doable once they are on to further adjust, but if I didn't adjust at all before putting them on, I might as well not try. On the plus side these are comfortable and warm. I was out for an hour in 25 degrees and felt fine. I imagine they'd hold up well down to single digits, but I doubt I'll encounter much of that this winter. Snow is expected this weekend so that'll be a good test, but they do claim to be water resistant and seem solid for wet weather. I also like the nose wipe material on the thumb, very useful for gross people like myself who get drippy noses in cold weather. All things considered, for the price, these are solid cold winter gloves and I'm happy I didn't spend $50+ for a different brand ... show more

  • Good so far!
Size: X-Large (Pack of 1) Color: Dark Grey/Black
These just arrived today and I wanted to get a review in ASAP because I usually forget. I've worn the same pair of thinsellate gloves for 23 years as cycling gloves in below-freezing weather. It is time for a refresh and these carhartts looked like a good deal for the warmth they boast. I expect these to perform well in single digit Fahrenheit winter and be wind resistant. They fit my hand well as an extra large... Not too tight or too large, just right. I was able to adjust the straps with both gloves on (Even though some people said it was impossible to make the adjustment with the gloves on). The construction looks and feels great. I am optimistic about the performance of these gloves for my winter expectations. I will update this review if they perform any less than that. Happy cycling! ... show more
