Excellent pair of winter gloves. Carhartt always makes a great product including these. I bought a large, the fit is true to size. They are super warm waterproof. The gloves are soft, and the thickness is perfect. Good dexterity and I like the grip as I'm able to pick things up with my fingers with out struggling or having to take a gloves off. I especially like the wide cuff with draw string to cover your outer layer, preventing snow or anything getting in. The velcro strap and the strap fastener work great. All around a sturdy warm pair of gloves for winter or what have you.

Best winter gloves I've ever owned. Purchased prior to going north of the Artic Circle, had no problems with cold fingers. Very good elastic around wrist, I have wide hands with shorter fingers and this fits snug on the width and fine in finger length. Waterproof, very functional.

For the price, I have 0 complaints. They're very warm. I usually wear medium, but ordered large because I like to wear extra glove liners. They fit the way they're supposed to. The extra tab on the pull cord is nice because I can grab it easier with the gloves on to tighten the wrists. They seem well constructed with quality materials.

These are pretty good gloves Fit: Yes, I got a size up. I have wide hands and short fingers. I usually wear L and got XL. They go on easily and are comfortable, but the fingers are too long. Warmth: We were out this morning walking at 17 degrees F. My fingers were chilly. I've done snow blowing and cleaning snow off the cars. These gloves are warmer that previous gloves, but not really a game changer. Durability: I just got these gloves. They seem well-made, but time will tell.

Quality construction and warm. Not sure gloves with fingers could be warmer. For me, a solid 60-90 minutes in single degree F weather without starting to feel cold. Too warm in the high 20s to low 30s.

Quality feels top notch. Very very warm, super comfortable. Not a huge fan of he clip that holds them together, but that is a minor inconvenience. For the size… I read it, I ignored it, I regret it. I had to return and buy a size up. It isn’t just that the fingers are short (they are, and so are mine, so finger length was great for me), it is truly that these run small in width of hand as well - SIZE UP.

I needed to replace my old play (riding ATVs) and work (snow removal mostly) gloves as the old ones were starting to show insulation through the leather palms/finger. I had a difficult time finding something that would be both warm (I'm up in N. Idaho and have to work at times in temps well below zero), still allow sufficient flexibility to allow my to grasp handle bars and shovel handles, plus tough enough to last for a couple of seasons.. These are close (I'd go with a 4.5 rating...but figured that going to a 4 wasn't right at this point) Point one, these are warm...very warm. Second, they are close to the flexibility of my old gloves; a bit more insulation means a small loss in flexibility, so we'll see, particularly after they get soaked and dried a couple of times. The last item, toughness will have to wait for at least a few more sessions of snow removal. They appear to have totally man made materials (even in the palms) and while they appear to be heavier duty than regular gloves, I've found after lots of experience that leather wears probably better than any other material; but I'm ready to be proved wrong. My one and only real advice would be to go a size larger than you might normally use. The measurement advice given on the Carhartt site was to buy large and while these fit, it's a tight fit and a bit of moisture will make them a challenge to get on. I'm at the stage in my life where our typical 6 inches of new snow requires at least a few starts and stops. You are not going to drink from a coffee mug with these on (warmth comes at a price) and getting them back on after that required cup of coffee will be a challenge. Oh, ya...the straps and draw strings on these are excellent. They will keep snow from getting in and will hold the gloves on even with significant effort. I'm currently to the point in our winter where snow removal requires throwing the snow up on to our now 5 ft piles. There is nothing quite as frustrating as throwing a full shovel of snow up on the pile and finding that your glove which froze on the shovel handle is now sitting on top of the pile after being pulled off your hand by the effort required.
