True to size I know with the loose fitting carhart shirts you need to go a size down but on the loose fitting sweater stay at your size otherwise you'll need to return which I had done because I went a size down on my first order. I've owned countless Carhartt hoodies and this hoodie fits how Carhartt usually fits: just right. I'm 6' and have a decent reach. If my arms were any longer I'd need an XL, or Tall (preferably Tall). The only reason I took a star off was because Carhartt is starting to make their hoodies thinner in woven material. I've noticed that with other clothing companies as well. It's a shame that they're sacrificing weight for the whole reason people are buying this product to begin with. Wanna save money? Don't stamp your name on the sleeve.

My husband and teens love this brand! Unlike a lot of brands that have thin material these are a thicker material! They are more expensive then your average shirt, but worth the price because of the quality! (I like to save the carhartt clothes in my amazon cart and keep checking back to see if the price will drop some.)
