Like many of us, I need to carry reading glasses so my old, plain shirts just did work. These run very large so order accordingly. I have taken medium for over 40 years. Then I bought one of these from Tractor Supply and got home to find that a 'Medium' can cover up my truck. I tried a 'Small' and it fits like a Medium, used to. Now that I am retired and sell at Flea Markets all summer, I need ... 'This' shirt. I now have about 20 of them. All different colors so people don't think I wear the same one every day. :) My eyes are at the point where I cannot read anything without them. However I don't need them passed 6 feet. Thus...the pocket! I need one all the time. The only downside at all is that you have now idea which shirt came from where. That said I have two of these that after about 20 washes start to deteriorate around the hems. I have a Carhart from about 30 years ago that has little wear even now. Knowing that, I still buy them.

These Carhartt are great and I own a bunch of them. As a retiree, I have found that in summer months, these are the only shirts you need in your closet. The pocket easily accommodates an iPhone Pro Max sized phone, so you can avoid back pocket carry which can breaking your glass or make embarassing butt-dials. I have some Tall ones, which I purchased in expectation of normal shrinkage--but these shirts absolutely do not shrink in the dryer. Unless you can dunk a basketball, stick with the normal length. I do carefully remove the Carhartt tags on the chest as I do not want to impersonate the likely usual customers for this product--hardworking men who do skilled labor with their hands and take their showers at the end of the day.
