I bought these for my husband to work I'm when the temperatures are way too hot for pants. We own an overhead door business so while installing doors he is really rough on clothes. Carhartt is one of the only brands he works I'm thanks to the durability. These work great. The only con is they run a little small. Had to return the first pair and size up!

As a bigger man, Carhartt puts nothing but quality products together and these shorts are no exceptions. Fit well to size, comfortable. They perform above and beyond. The only reason they aren't 5 stars is the fabric that is used wrinkles and stays wrinkled. I'm not an someone who irons and so I'm a dryer "unwrinkler" and even after splashing thesw with water, quite a few wrinkles stuck around. Other than that, quality as always.

These are VERY similar to ripstop BDU shorts made by Propper, Rothco or Tru-Spec but cost twice as much. There is no flexibility or adjustability in the waistband and they aren't as reinforced as the mil-spec cargo shorts. One trip through the washer and dryer and they fit like grape smugglers, so order a size up. Wash on cold, because they fade. The deal breaker for me, is that I go commando in the summer. The actual BDU shorts are button-fly, whereas these have a brutal tackle-snagging zipper.
