The gloves are well made, as usual with Carhartt clothing. Well insulated but not especially thick, so far I've worn them in single-digit temps in the wind and my hands stayed warm. Fit is excellent, true to size for my size L hands, fingers aren't too long or narrow, the gloves slide on and off easily. The elastic at the wrists is just right, enough to keep wind and water out but not so tight as to be noticeable. Length is just right, they extend about 2 inches over the wrist, not too long or short. Definitely very water resistant, snow doesn't penetrate or soak the material at all. Using them with a cell phone is a hit or miss proposition; about half the time the screen doesn't detect finger movement, but despite various reviews and how Carhartt described the gloves, I didn't expect that to work and I couldn't care less that it doesn't. All things considered I can't imagine a better glove in terms of bang for the buck. ... show more

I live in an area where it’s winter half the year and these are very warm. I can even use the touchscreen radio console in my vehicle because of the rubber finger pads. They deflect snow quite well when you scrape your vehicle off or shovel snow

Warm enough for mild winter weather and seems sufficiently waterproof. Fits great. The touchscreen section works alright but every now and then I still find myself ripping off the glove to control my phone.

The media could not be loaded. Ordered a size small. I'm a 5'3" guy. They fit ok there's a little bit of space at each of my finger tips which is kind of annoying but maybe they'll break in and fit better? I work outside for most of my shift standing out in the cold and I desperately needed gloves to be able to interact with touch screen devices. These gloves are not completely designed to keep your hands warm or waterproof. Once the temperature drops below 30°F I began to notice that I was having trouble keeping my hands warm. They do keep some water out, but not completely. I suggest using a water seal spray. The touchscreen interaction works well. These gloves look good, feel nice and are lightweight. However I suggest if you are working in artic temps then look for a pair of thermal gloves. Overall these are great gloves for driving or doing a quick job outside. ... show more
