I really like this bag. I’m a welder and i bought it for work to keep my flashlight, phone, gauges i need in, stuff like that in. I needed something small enough that I could carry with me and stash in my main toolbag if I needed but big enough to keep what I needed with me. This works perfectly for that. Then i brought it on a dog hike with me and i loved it for that. I can keep my phone, ID, debit card, other stuff i like to have with me when i walk the dog for a few miles. The pockets are perfect, the strap adjusts comfortably so i can have it exactly where i want it to access it with one hand. And now dont have to worry about locking my purse in my trunk because i dont even need to bring it with me. I like this bag so much that im ordering a second one, one for work, one for home, so i dont have to keep switching back and forth. This bag is little bit holds a LOT. Couldn’t be happier for 30 bucks.

Bought this for my son and he absolutely loves it — so much so that he's already ordered it twice! That says it all really. He uses it daily for his construction business and it holds up perfectly. Fits everything he needs on the job — phone, wallet, keys, small tools and essentials — without feeling bulky or getting in the way while he works. Very well made bag and absolutely worth the money. I use this as my dog walking pack when we are just going on short walks around the neighborhood. It holds everything I could need and keeps it all organized! In the very front Velcro pocket I keep a pocket knife, just in case it’s my day to mauled. The middle pocket is small and padded, great for a phone and a house key. I also keep a small pill case in there with Benadryl doses in case of bee stings. In the big pocket I’ve got a water bottle, collapsable bowl, spare leash, and some first aid stuff like tweezers for burs, bandaids and moleskin for me, extra poop bags, and a toy. Hanging off of the bag I have pet corrector in a holder and some hand sanitizer. It will definitely hold a good bit. It zips well, materials are solid, and I think it’ll last me a few years. I’ll update with any issues.

Typical high quality one would expect from Carhartt. The clips seem like they will last a long time, and the attached webbing is a nice quality and size. I can wear around my waist or adjust slightly and wear as a cross-body sling style purse. I purchased to hold all of my essentials when walking my dogs. I especially like the center pocket for my phone as it has some soft padding to prevent accidental scratches. Plenty of room for keys, leashes, phone, poo bags, license etc. I wanted the pink or lavender but chose the green so that my husband and I can share this bag. The green is really very pretty and wasn't a compromise now that I see it in person. We use it at the beach mostly and it has not been affected by sand or moisture. Mine is still very clean, but I would not hesitate to hand-wash it and air dry it if it gets cruddy. I believe it will hold up just fine as everything is high quality.

So as part of the ongoing saga to find the best waist pack, I purchased this one from Carhartt. The quality overall you really can’t beat it. Carhartt does make very good products. The construction on this bag is wonderful. The zippers work flawlessly and there are just the right amount of compartments. You don’t get a ton of organization however as It’s just the main compartment the front smaller zipper, and then one other little spot. But this bag holds a lot of stuff. I managed to hold an iPhone 16 Pro Max, my keys, my wallet, my multitool, my flashlight, tissues, small first aid kit, and several other items in this bag with no problems, and I still had room in there if I needed to cram in a few extras. I really like having the Grab handle on top of the bag as it gives you another option to carry it without just having to use the waist strap. I bought this to use as a waist back and conceivably you could wear it as a Crossbody, but the strap is somewhat shorter than other brands that I have tried and may not be what you’re looking for in terms of length for a Crossbody as it tends to sit quite high on the chest. Now the strap is a wide strap which I really appreciate as the ones with the narrow straps tend to sag more and just don’t provide enough support. The buckle clip is strong and durable and I appreciate the fact that I can adjust the belt from both sides, which makes on the go adjustments very easy. I ended up deciding to alternate between this and one other bag depending on the circumstance and what I’m doing most of the time is to use this bag throughout the week, more as a work bag and I use the other bag as my off work bag. So far it is held up quite well. I did manage to get it a little wet it wasn’t a big deal. While it’s not waterproof it did keep the water from getting to the internal items. Now I wouldn’t go throw this in the ocean, but it should hold up to just normal every day exposure to liquids. The only thing that would be nice, Is if the interior were a different color. I know a lot of different bad companies now do that and it’s great when it’s executed well because it does make locating items much easier. Sometimes I do have to use my little mini flashlight to be able to see where things have shifted in the bag but overall if you need a durable well-made, higher capacity bag that isn’t gonna stick out 6 inches from your waist, I would definitely recommend this one. Carhartt is known for the quality and in this case they definitely delivered

my daily. its nice. i havent tested the waterproofness but it seems like its generally solid. carhart for this price you cant beat it. it has a big main pocket. a smaller front pocket with an open velcro pocket in front of that, the main pocket has a zipper pocket inside it. you definetly can fit a handgun in this bag. lightweight and easy to use.

I was looking for a slightly bigger waist bag than my 1.5l one for my weekly long walks. My carry has grown from just wallet, earbuds and sunglasses to wallet, earbuds, sunglasses, sanitizer spray, poncho, tissues. So the 1.5l bag I had was feeling a bit tight. This bag is absolutely perfect. It holds all the stuff mentioned above and could even hold my phone or a battery bank if I needed. When you put it on, it kind of self compresses so it doesn't look bulky. This does mean that it feels a bit tight to get things in and out while it's strapped to you, but it's not impossible. The strap itself is comfortable and held tight on my walk without loosening. The built-in strap keepers are also a very nice addition. My only nitpick is that the front pockets are a little odd. The front zipper pocket is fleece lined, but it's too small to fit glasses and a tight fit for a modern smartphone (I have a Samsung S23+ that barely fits). I end up just putting my earbuds or card wallet in here, but the fleece lining isn't necessary for that stuff. The velcro pocket is just useless to me. It might be good for chapstick or something, but the Velcro is annoying to undo for just that. I just don't use this pocket at all. So overall, it's a perfect bag if you need a large main compartment without the bulk. The front pockets are hit and miss, but it's nice that they're an option.
