I am two days out side of the return window so I can't return them unfortunately. I was wearing them yesterday which was the second time wearing them and at some point they must have ripped on me. I saw it to day when I went to wash them. I have short that I had for years with no problems. These I wore out to eat and pick up some groceries. Not impressed. They did look good and fit perfectly. Bought a pair of these and found that they fit true to size. They’re on the lighter weight side which is fine as they’re shorts… I wear them when it’s warm out and lighter weight is aye okay. The upper pockets are a little shallow but still deep enough to hold my wallet and keys safely. The middle pockets are very small and really kinda useless. And the lower pockets are typical cargo shorts pockets and are nice and deep and hold a lot. The belts are nice and thick and the buckles present nicely. I would have given these shorts 5 stars but the zippers are kind of flimsy. One has to be careful when pulling them up not to snag them on the fly cover. They’ve never jammed on me, but I think they might of I weren’t so careful. ... show more

These shorts fit great. I like the look. They are very thin which helps to keep cool, also may not be very durable because of this. I have been having problems with getting the zipper to the up position. So for me there are positives and negatives to these shorts

I had to get the main button (the one that closes the shorts above the zipper)fixed before I could wear them. It was loose and was about to fall off. Otherwise they seem to look like they will work out ok.

Size: 42 Color: Magnet
The quality isn’t the same as 2009-era, though during that golden age for Ecko, there were also hits and misses with some of the wardrobe pieces. These shorts are somewhat cheap and as a result, will last one or two summers if worn regularly and without too much abuse. Size is the same as the golden age but the stitching looks cheaply done and the quality of material isn’t quite the same; however it does feel similar. Around 2010-2011 I bought a Boba Fett zipper sweatshirt and use it to this day and still looks amazing imo. So there are pieces that last but you will have to spend a pretty penny for the quality. I’d buy again because I figured they would last a year or two with me using them once or twice a week. Knowing they don’t look that they’ll last forever or take massive abuse, hopefully will help you when making a decision. Not bad for the price, but know they won’t be like jean shorts or 5.11 gear. ... show more

I like the style and comfortability of these shorts! They are lightweight and can be folded basically into one of the back pockets (which is how they arrived). The belt is nice and lightweight as well (although it seems a little too long). The belt is not attached to the shorts so it is an option to wear, which is nice. Solid shorts but they get four stars because they seem like they might rip or tear easily. I’m not too sold on the durability yet. ... show more

I bought a pair earlier this year to wear during the hot summer months. I found that I was wearing them quite often due to the heatwave this year, so I bought another pair. The clasp belt takes a little getting used to if you've never used them before, but it becomes easier to manage with usage. Very durable fabric and the colors do not fade in the wash.
