I use it everyday with my Icon Airflite helmet. The sound quality is very good and it has good volume. The helmet is very loud so it drowns the freecom, i could turn up the volume from the freecom but then it would be too loud for me. When i use a facemask bc of covid, the mic doesnt recognize the voice well but still works. I think its a GREAT and AWESOME soubd system, my gf hear me perfectly through the intercom and calls are great. Music work very well too, even the speed dial. Whatsapp calls need to be answered manually, regular calls answers automatically. ... show more

Finally, third time is a charm. I tried 2 other makes and the volume was very weak. This one worked super well. The installation is quite standard and it fit my Shoei RF helmet super well. The sound quality is very decent, i can actually hear the directions and music going 65mph and above.

    • Regretting this purchase!
Very disappointed with this product. When used alone it works ok but when paired with the other unit I get random static while riding with my wife on the back of the bike. I contacted the manufacturer and they had me do several different test Nothing worked. Finally they said they would send me a new unit after I ship the original back. So I shipped it and they sent me another unit. I get the new one charge it and update it take it for a test drive and have the same problem. Contact them again to let them know and I don’t get a response for a week. Contact them again and they now want me to send my wife’s unit back and they will replace it. So now I have to ok pay the shipping again to return their faulty product. This has been going on for over a month now and I still don’t have what I paid for. The sound quality for music is ok but terrible for talk radio. The unit to unit communication is hit and miss at best. I am really regretting this purchase. ... show more

    • Easy to communicate with my passenger!!
Works great - easy to install and use! Sound quality is excellent as well. Wife and I enjoy riding and we both like to listen to music. We can enjoy our music and still communicate whenever necessary (though not often)! Try it - you will love it!!

Having in mind that I just need this intercoms to speak with my companion I think they do the job. I just received it yesterday, but my main concern is that they don't include the wired mic for closed helmets, just the one for open helmets. The most basic SENA model includes both types of mic.
