2001 Honda Foreman TRX450ES This is a "Plug n' Play" carburetor. I pulled the original one out and the new one bolted right in. There is a couple of minor changes between this carb and the original Honda 450 carb. The changes I found were : the fuel inlet going to the fuel filter is straight up instead of facing the side (better suited in my opinion so I liked the change), and the other one was a solid brass choke needle (also a great change). The original was rubber and had a little corrosion. Was extremely pleased with the carb, I had to do ZERO adjusting, although some people said that it may have to be tweaked sometimes (not a big deal at all). The screw cover for the choke cable did not allow my original choke cable to slide through so I reused the original one with the new spring and choke needle. It worked perfect. I kept the original Throttle cable as well but It looked quality so i kept the cable in case I need it in the future. It definitely feels like its getting better throttle response and gas mileage with the new carb. No leaks, or issues from this and I went on a 6 mile trip right after Install. Carburetor works but SUM TING WONG! Throttle cable cover was not fully injected when molded. Good thing the OE one fit. Worth noting that the fuel inlet on the fryrye carburetor is 90 degrees up instead of straight out like the OE which could be a problem for some. Works and still less expensive than buying all the separate kits needed to actually rebuild the OE carb. Me rike noodre ... show more

Replaced the carb. On my 2003 Honda 450 ES. Wasn’t hard to install the new unit, after following an online video. After I got everything put back together the ATV started on the second try, actually fired on first try a probably would have ran had I kept the starter button held a second or two longer. Runs like new without any adjustments to the carburetor. Very pleased ... show more

Have a 2000 Honda Foreman 450 ES & the carb float was stuck in the open position, which was causing the carb to dump gas out of the carb bowl overflow line every time the fuel was in the “ON” position. Didn’t want to spend $200 on Honda OEM carb, so bought this equivalent. Needless to say, it performed perfectly out of the box. No adjustments needed. Great product! ... show more

Throttle cable was too short for my 02 Honda foreman 450s. But the carb seems to be working well for now no idea how long it will last.
