  • Worked, obviously required tuning but good
Definitely one of the higher end knockoff carbs I've purchased. No leaks like some have on the drain, this ones good. All the screws are good quality and even with overtightening i havent stripped any. If it doesn't run right out of the box or think its untuneable, then YOU are the problem. It tunes fine maybe not as good adjustments as stock but still great for the price. Buy it. ... show more

  • Works well, great price
The carburetor was all set to use. I put it on my four wheeler, filled the bowl with fuel and it fired right up. It came with a bunch of spare jets. I suppose my only problem is that it came with no instructions on when to use the other jets, but that's info I can get myself so it's not a big deal. The price is more than fair. I couldn't have rebuilt my corroded old carb for much less. ... show more

  • Good carb
Carb works fine. Idle adjustment is tricky though. It was easy to install except for the throttle cable.

  • All carbs need fiddling
!! MUST READ !! All carbs need fiddling. Bought this for a 99 wolverine. Out of the box it will run but it’ll pop and cut out and starve for gas. For me to get mine dialed you’ll need to ditch the 145 main jet for the 160 in the kit. And ditch the pilot #42 jet beside it for the #45 then run the air mix screw it all the way then loosen it up 3 full turns. Thank me later. ... show more

  • Arrived broken
When I got this carb I took it out of the box to inspect before installing and found it had a crack (see pic). Just goes to show you this carb is junk. They must not have any quality control. Total garbage. Do not buy.

  • Seems to be good to go!
Pulled my dads old 1997 wolverine out of the weeds recently to get it going again. Got parked due to “an intake leak”, turned into several fuel/air issues. After stripping the original carb to rebuild found out that someone had completely stripped the flathead for the air screw. Someone had tried to compensate for several air leaks and had seized it in there tighter than it gets. A broken easy out later and I was shopping for a donor carb. Refurb we’re $400 and if you could find a new old stock one it was $600-700. Even used they were $250. Wasn’t interested in spending a ton of money for an old farm quad. After searching a little this one looked like a clone. Got it in the mail and it was pretty close! Came with a filter, some fuel line and some spare jets etc. opened the bowl and it had the right main jet. Threw it on and had a running four wheeler. After a little idle adjustment this thing was right on! Coughed real hard first time I went wide open but didn’t repeat it. I think the jet up top just hadn’t primed. All in all it’s worth every penny so far! ... show more

  • Need adjusting
It works great, but is advertised as not needing to adjust it. Guess what, it needs adjusted. Still a decent carb

  • Incredible Value
Honestly very impressed with this for the price. Cheaper than an OEM Mikuni rebuild kit. Runs perfectly on my Wolverine with very little adjustment. We will see how it lasts long term. My only *small* gripe is not knowing what jets were installed, but it’s plenty fast to pull the bowl before install and check. Looks like an identical clone to OEM even down to Japanese Industrial Standard screws. ... show more
