    • Great invention for long road trips

This cot is designed for you to put your front seat back all the way down and take the head rest off, and then you can lay down to sleep while you're on the road. It works better on the passenger side for a small car because the steering wheel doesn't allow it to fold down completely unless you have a large car. For a tall person, approximately 6', my husband was able to lay on his side with his legs folded slightly. It allowed us to be able to lay down and rest for a few hours on a long 1500 mile road trip. We brought our own pillows. It is light and is small when folded up so you can just put it in the trunk and still fit other stuff. We just kept them in the back seat with the blankets and pillows so they were ready to grab when we needed them. We used the black car door window mesh over the front and back door windows you can buy on Amazon and a front window sun accordion screen for privacy. In a small car it doesn't allow a lot of space to climb onto the cot but a younger healthy person can do it. It was easier to climb in from the back door to lay down. I would recommend it for long trips. I wanted to add that I figured out with a hatchback you have another option. You can put the back seat forward and have the back leg in the trunk area with the frame all the way up to the hatchback door, and the front leg on the floor in front of the backseat, with the front seats pushed forward and the front of the cot frame up sitting against the back of the front seat. It makes it so the cot is lower down and it's much easier to get in and out of the car and much more private. You can then use 2 cots in a small car with 2 options for exits, the back doors or the hatchback door. The front leg kind of hovers a few inches off the floor because it doesn't reach all the way to the floor, but it doesn't really need anything under it because as long as it's down the cot lays straight. This works well with cars that have a hump where the back seat folds down because the cot solves that problem because you're still above that enough that you can't feel it. Fabric needs upgrade. Won't hold 600 pounds nore my 300 pounds. I'm 6 ft 1 inches. It's like 5 got long. I'm gonna keep and modify and strengthen up with rachit straps. If your small light person, this is perfect. East St up and light. If your bigger. You will have to modify but great concept.

Its very light and easy to open or close. Durability is not very good, easy to tip on eather side if not too carefull. Not sutable for to plase on uneven surface. This product should have been half the price due to the durability.

For $100 I expected higher quality. The aluminum was unfinished, and exposed edges would cut into skin. I didn’t use the bed and immediately returned for lack of quality. It looks and feels like something you buy for $8.99 at a gas station in Florida for the beach.

I have a 2015 Chevrolet Spark and this fits perfectly in it. I'm a short man so the 64" length works fine, I can stretch out comfortably. My trunk space is small so I can't fit it there, but it fits in the rear seat. The only thing that seems iffy is the canvas material; mine arrived in good condition, it's comfortable and holds my weight fine, it just feels a bit cheap. I bought Tear-Aid fabric repair just in case it decides to give out while I use it on road trips. Either way, I love this thing. I like this product. It helps a lot for camper or living in car. The fabric is just thin. If you can make with thicker fabric, and the plastic tool is stronger. I don’t mind to buy with the higher price. Finally, I can tell that it is the convenient bed for camper.

The item is great functionally. However the build quality is terrible. My unit didn't come with black paint/coating as pictured. It just shipped with bear metal. Additionally the fabric was ripped out of box further put the quality in question.
