We purchased this for a road trip cross country. I have some health issues and need something that I could lay on. We filled up only have it out it along the middles row and week and one side of the car going from 2nd row to the 3rd in our suv. It was a life saver! It’s got 4 chambers so you can blow up what you need. Blowing it up is quick and easy with the provider pump! Would definitely buy again! We went over 5800 and it was awesome! The media could not be loaded. This is not like most normal air mattresses I have owned. Those were made of thick vinyl and even some of those have a tendency to get small leaks from incidecntal punctures by random objects. This car mattress is super thin, that it reminds me of the super cheap pool floats---and take a step down because this feels thinner than that (more like material in a blow up beach ball). When I took it out of the box, I was very surprised at how thin the material is. I measured by folding in half and when I pressed on the calipers it shows 0.5mm (0.019685 inch). When I released the caliper, natural expansion occurs from the fold and 0.55mm is shown in the photo for a measurement of two sheets. That means the one sheet material is only 0.25-0.27mm. That is super thin and is not going to last, or at least not going to survive random objects that it contacts while in the car or during camping. What comes to mind are thorns, stickers, pointy objects, sharp pencils, forks, corner of a camp stove, etc. The "velvet" coating on one side is super thin as well---as if it was sprayed painted on; not what is coated on a regular air mattress designed for temporary home bedding. The accessories are made of the same thin vinyl material. Even the carrying bag is made of a different but also very thin material. The included inflator will only pump 2/3 way through the mattress before shutting down from overheating and require a cool down period before it can operate again. I have been on many camping trips over the years as a former boy scout and with my kids while they were growing up, so I know the kinds of things to expect on a camping trip. Believe me when I say, this mattress won't cut it. Overall, it is a superficially nice looking package, but not something that is meant to last and may not even survive one trip without suffering a puncture. This product works very well in a number of different ways. Because of the different parts being able to inflate and deflate one piece at a time it fits in a number of different spots. I put this in the backseat of my 2001 extended cab RAM 1500 (very small backseat) and it fits perfect. I am also able to use it in the bed of the truck as a bed and a couch. Got this for my last minute road trip. I have a 2014 Nissan Juke, and it fit perfectly! My car is TINY!! Let’s just say, the honda fit and the toyota prius’s interiors are both bigger than the jukes interior! It was quite durable, the material does not feel thin. It also comes with a hole repair kit, which I haven’t tried yet because I haven’t needed it. It was actually quite comfortable, i had some really nice sleep on this mattress. Normally when i sleep in my car, I wake up with a terrible headache, but I woke up still very comfortable and didn’t have a headache!!     • Great for in a vehicle, but not great in a tent.
I got this item for a last minute camping trip. The item fit nicely in the back of the SUV, tried to use it in the tent afterwards, not great. But the young man in the SUV slept well with it afterwards too. So it does work where it is supposed to.

I used it for a read trip my family and I took last summer. I folded the seats on our Tahoe and used it there but it did loose some air every time we used it. It was not a lot but you could tell it was loosing air. Even then it was nice to have something to sleep in other than the back of the SUV.
