I originally purchased this handle for my parents and my in-laws, who are elderly and sometimes have difficulty getting in and out of the car. It has honestly been a game changer. It provides great stability and makes standing up from a seated position so much easier and safer. They feel more independent, and I feel more at peace knowing they have that extra support. What I also love is that it’s multifunctional. In addition to being a support handle, it can be used in an emergency to break a window if needed — which adds an extra layer of safety. It’s small, lightweight, and very convenient to keep in the car door or glove compartment. I personally used it as well after back surgery, and it was incredibly helpful. I have purchased 2 of these. They work great helping my mom in and out of the car. They are very sturdy, very durable, but with both of my purchases the foam grip around it splits within the first couple weeks which sucks because the grip on it is very nice and steady.

Works great! Very pleased. My mom had ACL surgery and needs some assistance getting in and out of my truck. This does an excellent job of giving her an additional sturdy leverage point that she can put her full body weight on to get in and out with ease.
