Or tablet, although I cannot see a tablet fitting in that spot on my car, but that is just my car. Maybe some cars a tablet would fit fine there, but, for my car, it would not be feasible. Thankfully, though, I am using a phone with this mount. It is nice, because I don't use the CD/DVD slot in my car, as I use the software from my phone to utilize the infotainment needed while driving. My old mount, was a typical mount, in that it connected to the air vents, and this, ended up with my phone getting incredibly hot during the winter months. Did not mind it so much during the summer, when it would get incredibly cold, but that's another story. Very simple to use, pop it in to the slot, turn the bolt to tighten it, and you're done. Connect the holder, and boom, you have a wonderful phone/tablet mount, in a place that you, potentially, are not using it anymore. For me, the only downside is that it blocks my physical volume knob. I can still get to it, but it's not easily accessible. I do have volume control on my steering wheel, so it's all good. Extremely sturdy, and feels well made.     • Perfect fit for my Honda Element...
This is a practical mount I use in my Honda Element to secure my iPad for front seat viewing. It installs with a few turns of the off the locking screw. It’s easy to reach, no further than the radio controls! Overall, yea, it’s worth getting, it sure bets having the iPad on my lap!
