I needed a way to elevate my legs and recline in the back seat for a long car trip. It fit nicely in my Toyota RAV4. Though getting in and out of the car and positioning myself on it was a bit tricky, once I was settled, I was able to be comfortable for a few hours. I used one of the floor supports, which were unneeded in our car, as a booster for my legs. It certainly was a lot more comfortable than just the car seat as it added several inches to the width available for my body, and kept me from feeling like I was going to slip down between the seats. At the end of our trip, it deflated well, and stored away easily.

This is designed to give you a chance at sleeping if you have a car that otherwise would require contortions to get a few hours of shuteye. It might not transform your car into a hotel room, it provides as much comfort as some airliner first class "lie flat" (not quite) seats, which are a good measure better than trying to sleep sitting up with your head against a window. When I go hiking sometimes I need a rest before driving, or I want to sleep through till daylight when driving cross country, and this solution at least is designed to work in these tight quarters, making the most of the space. The topside has a soft surface which is better than smooth plastic in terms of preventing slipping and sliding. And the set comes with bigger side pillows, along with two small pillows, so you can fill in the spaces around the seat edges. Filling with air requires you connect the pump to the 12V "cigarette lighter" power source, and once you do so and turn it on, attached to the fill locations (there are 3 of them), it fills quickly -- very quickly. Make sure you have the fill valves set to use the top sections which provide the one way valves so when you disconnect the pump you don't lose all the air. When you want to deflate, you remove the top of the stem valves and the one way valve goes with it for quick repacking (in a supplied stuff sack). I use this on my Nissan Roque, as shown in pix. It's a good solution for saving money and getting rest where otherwise sleeping in the elements or on the ground or in a tent would be a poor alternative. Better than trying to use a tent air mattress for "car camping" since this at least is design to make the most of what you car can offer in sleeping terms. It pays for itself the first night you use it, and hopefully helps you get rest needed for more outdoor fun and adventure.

I take road trips out of state and sometimes being out in the middle of nowhere I like the security of sleeping inside my truck or if the weather is bad. This inflatable mattress is just the thing and I didn't know I needed it so badly. It fits the back seat perfectly. It has inflatable pillows but I didn't need them. One side is the velvety side and the other is the vinyl side. This makes it so much more comfortable sleeping on the velvet side. The mattress also has three air ports. The ports have the back flow valves which prevents that race against time trying to get the plug in. This mattress doesn't have to be placed in the back seat. I do sleep there but it can be placed anywhere. Under the stars would be a great place in nice weather. I really do like this mattress and the only thing I could think of to add would be a type of repair kit or patch if needed.

I love that this comes with a carrying bag, patches and pump that works in the car. It takes a while to air up, so make sure you have plenty of time. It fits my 2019 Subaru Outback well. It hold the air well and is pretty comfortable. Works well. It does have a weird smell to it, but just let it air out for a few days before use.

I bought this for a camping trip last summer. My husband and I sleep in the back of our rav4. The fiest camping trip we didn't have a cushion and it was the worst sleep ever. So I bought this mattress in hopes that it would make us sleep more comfortably. I think it would be okay for 1 person, but it was way to small for two. It's not very thick once it's blown up. Maybe 3 inches tops. It fit pretty good in our 2021 Toyota Rav4.
