I have used this several times and it is very comfortable. I was able to elevate my head though I did use my own pillow with it. Keep in mind how wide your vehicle is, at 5'6" I was perfectly fine but a taller person may not fare as well. It is a great product and I love that it packs small enough to keep in my truck. The air pump worked great as well.

Headboard deflated overnight on trip. Could not maintain air in the morning no visible hole. Next night smaller body section failed and fully deflated. Definitely can NOT recommend.

It’s very easy to set up, but the air doesn’t stay all too well inside. It’s bigger than a twin size bed, and fits perfectly in a 4 runner. Pretty comfortable overall, and is no different than a regular air mattress (it just fits better in the car)

Got a stretch of 10hrs with the kids which never happens when they’re in car seats for hours。The size was perfect, easy to inflate, deflate and comfortable for our 9 year old daughter and 8 year old son to travel 10hours. I took this with me on roadtrip and it is great. I have more room to lay down. The set up is pretty easy. It fit perfectly in the back of my car. Super convenient. And putting away is a pretty fast and simple.

I really wanted to love this air mattress because it fit perfectly in my 2004 Nissan Xterra. I liked that it had the different chambers and could be configured in a few different ways. Sadly, even after blowing up twice to ensure the mattress was full, we awoke with achy lower backs and hips. I'm not sure if it is because of the wavy design or what, but it just wasn't supportive enough and where the two sides meet there was a small gap that was super uncomfortable. I will be returning this air mattress and continuing my hunt for an air mattress that fits the entire back of my SUV and that is comfortable.
