I bought this camera grip to see if it would make holding my phone easier when shooting photos and videos. I'm using it with a Samsung Galaxy S23. I was pleased to find that I didn't have to remove my phone case to use the grip. I had the opportunity to try out the camera grip while traveling recently. I was surprised at the difference that it made. The handle made it easier to take shots with one hand. It was also helpful for creating in-camera "whip pan" video transitions I like having the cold shoe mount. I shot quite a bit of video, with my shotgun mic mounted in it, for capturing better audio. I used the quarter inch thread to mount my phone onto a selfie stick. I used that setup mostly for video, to simulate crane shots. The grip's charging cable's storage compartment came in unexpectedly handy. I had my power bank with me, but I'd left my phone charging cable back at my room. By coincidence, the remote button charging cable fit my phone. So, I was able to charge my phone throughout the day. Overall, I'm more than satisfied with my purchase.

I really love this thing! I am a photographer and thought, what the heck! I think I use my cell phone more now because of this! The blue tooth is a bit touchy but other than that, it rocks! I would suggest getting a carrying case for it rather than leaving it loose in a purse or a bag. It is easy to loose some of the removable parts.

Bought this for an Android phone which was within the stated dimensions to fit this holder. And it does fit...sort of. Problem being: the fit is so very tight am a bit hesitant to use the product as I’m concerned it could actually crack the phone’s glass over time or otherwise damage the phone. But other than that, works as advertised. Did not return it as I plan to tinker with it to see if I can’t somehow make it fit just a hair better. Other than the tight fit I like it a lot and it’s very functional for its intended use. Just be advised that if your phone’s width is at the outer edge of the dimensions this holder will work with, you might end up with a fit so tight it might give you to pause to want to use it on the phone for even a short period of time. Am hoping I can find a way to make this fit better as I would leave it on the phone all the time if I could make that happen.

I'm sure there are fancier, more full-featured cell phone camera mounts out there, but for $20 it's hard to beat this Ulanzi Smartphone Camera Grip holder. It does what I really want: to provide me with a 35mm-like camera grip that is easy to put on, take off, and works immediately. I'm using it with my Samsung S23 Ultra with a case. The powerful spring holders attach the phone firmly. The Bluetooth shutter is easy to pair. Just know the button assembly pulls off for a mini-USB cord. The cord itself is cleverly stored in the handle. Removing the cord was the only difficult step in the process. The cord is tiny, but so is the storage hole. There's even a built in mirror (that round thing) for selfies. This is a really well-designed addition to amateur cell phone photography, and at a killer price.

More like impossible to use. I bought this and returned it. It not user friendly, instructions are vague and inaccurate. Between me and a couple other friends, we could not figure out how to get the grip to open in order to get my phone clamped in. Also couldn't figure out where to plug the charger in as well. Too bulky.
