Read reviews and wasn't sure to be honest, but my budget is limited so I thought I'd give it a try. Very easy and self explanatory, if you have done "in the hoop" type of embroidery. I wrapped self adhesive tear away stabilizer around the hat holder, sticky side up on front. Used painters tape to secure the stabilizer on the back of hat holder and the inserted into my hoop and secured it. Positioned and secured the brim of hat and then smoothed the embroidery area over the self adhesive and double secured with pins. By 4th hat only took maybe 5 minutes to prepare hat for embroidery.     • Cap hoop for embroidery machine unable to use.
I found this hoop very frustrating. It does not come with instructions. When I contacted the seller, I was given a link to watch a YouTube video. My husband & I watched the video numerous times, but couldn’t figure out how to assemble the hoop. That was issue not addressed. We did our best but could not get the hoop to stay together & hold the cap when put on my machine. I ended up returning the hoop. (No problem there) ... show more

I am so impressed with this device. I was told I couldn't embroider on a hat with my one needle machine, but I didn't take no for an answer. So glad I bought this gizmo!! And for the price!! Brand names are triple the cost. Why???

This came wrapped in seran type wrap with free floating tiny screws in the wrap along with free floating tiny spacers? No assembly instructions. It honestly looked like somebody’s return without packaging. I was able to figure it out and with three hands assemble it. It does work as it should. Works great. Just remember to turn off automatic trim and jump (if your machine has it) or the machine will get knocked out of alignment. I've done about a dozen hats so far and highly reccomend it.

    • Difficult to use, didn’t work
This product is a nightmare to use. No instructions, just came wrapped in Saran Wrap. We watched the video a bunch of times, couldn’t make sense of it and get the product stabilized in the hoop. We missed the return window and are now stuck with it. Do not recommend.

This is very sturdy, hold the hat securely. Fits right inside the bottom of the 5x7 frame. I was worried about it moving but with the stabilizer it does not move at all.
