This came wrapped in seran type wrap with free floating tiny screws in the wrap along with free floating tiny spacers? No assembly instructions. It honestly looked like somebody’s return without packaging. I was able to figure it out and with three hands assemble it. It does work as it should.     • excited until I went to use it
The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately, this will not work with a Brother NQ1700e embroidery machine as stated. When I finally went to use it the carriage tried to rehome in between colors and slammed into the presser foot. Thankfully it did not wreck the machine but definitely not happy that it is marketed as compatible with the unit and is actually not compatible at all. A few other items I would consider about this design, the screws were not long enough and one hole on the plate started to strip out the thread from not enough engagement with the screw. I had to alter the spaces and make them smaller to get the screws to engage securely. As I didn't have time to use this before the return period, I am stuck with this hoop and cannot return it.     • Difficult to use, didn’t work
This product is a nightmare to use. No instructions, just came wrapped in Saran Wrap. We watched the video a bunch of times, couldn’t make sense of it and get the product stabilized in the hoop. We missed the return window and are now stuck with it. Do not recommend.

This is very sturdy, hold the hat securely. Fits right inside the bottom of the 5x7 frame. I was worried about it moving but with the stabilizer it does not move at all.

Works great. Just remember to turn off automatic trim and jump (if your machine has it) or the machine will get knocked out of alignment. I've done about a dozen hats so far and highly reccomend it.
