Sturdy canvas "hobo" style bag that can be worn as a cross-body bag, or as a shoulder bag, as the strap is adjustable. I bought it to carry art supplies out in the field, and was delighted at the size of the 2 interior compartments, because it holds everything I need for a whole day of plein air painting! It holds my sketch book, paints, brushes and a journal, and it has two front pockets that are deep enough for a water bottle and even a Galaxy phone, which is too big for my pockets! The design allows me to sling it over my body so the weight is more evenly distributed. I bought it in the green color to hide the paint and dirt I will be getting into, and love it so much I ordered a second one that is in a lighter color to use as a purse, for when I am not out in the field! ... show more

I use this as my everyday carry bag. There's lots of room for whatever you want to bring, and then some. I really like it because i can carry as little or as much as i want without worrying i’ll run out of room, but also not being super unwieldy. i can use it for a notebook, an ipad, and my essentials. A few things to consider, the bag comes kinda smelling like the packaging (which I don't mind, and after some use the smell went away). If you are someone that prefers to have everything in its place I suggest you get a bag organizer, as this bag is just one big pocket, essentially. And the one pocket it has is not that big, but it’s enough for wallet and other small things. The zipper is pretty good, but there’s a small hole on both sides that’s definitely intended, so i wouldn’t rest this bag upside down or small things could fall out. Lastly, it's a very simple bag so it works really well with pins or charms. I got a grinch plushie keychain that just works so well with it cuz I got it in green. Overall, great bag! I bought the khaki color, it's more pale yellow but it's so cute! I bought it as a fun tote bag to use occasionally but I actually really like it as an every day bag as well. Great front pockets for your phone or any items you need to get to quickly. I'm now considering other colors.

The slouchy style let me stuff my wallet and phone deep down; plus room for purchases and a secure zipper. The adjustable strap let me pull the bag to carry forward in case of any pickpockets, which I prefer in crowds. The additional pockets are useful.
