This is an outstanding camera- can't say enough good things about it. The auto tracking feature is superb, the FPS is terrific especially for sports action, the menu system is relatively easy to learn (there's just so much). As far as value for the money, if you're a professional it's definitely worth it I think. For amateurs, it is quite an investment but if you want to get into photography this is an outstanding camera!!

Excellent Addition To the R6 Line
Set: Body with RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens
This new iteration of the Canon EOS R6 is a massive upgrade from the Mark II, and comparable or superior in most respects to the 5D Mark IV, which had been my dream DSLR before mirrorless models took over the market. In most specs, it's comparable to the Sony A7 V, and ultimately comes down to brand loyalty vs. performance. Though there are some considerations serious photographers would want to weigh, such as the lower rolling shutter of the Sony or the fantastic IBIS of the Canon. Since I don't always have a tripod available or quickly accessible when using my camera, the stabilization was a major selling point, as was the ability to utilize my existing EF glass with one of two adapters, without any quality loss. The menus and settings take a little while to get used to, but that's true whenever one is working with a new camera.
