Hopefully you understand what this camera is and what it isn't. You can probably find more capable used cameras but if you want something new, that does not break the bank and will take good pictures, this will do fine. This set was perfect for my 12yr old who wanted to get into photography. The lens in this set is not great but there are plenty affordable EF or EF-S lenses new or used on the market ... show more

There were a few issues with the Cannon kit. The kits Flash assembly did not function. A replacement flash did not work because the camera mounts have changed for newer models. I am using the cameras built in flash. There were no instructions for assembling the kit components. The kit came with two additional lenses (a 2.2x High Definition Telephoto lens and a High Definition Multicoated Glass Autofocus lens. I think these two lenses may need an adapter to fit to the camera but I will need to call the manufacturer ZTZ on this issue. Besides that the Camera is working well and I like the manual controls and the downloaded Tek manual for this camera. ... show more

I bought the EOS 2000 to replace a T5 and I'm happy with it. The only thing misleading is the 'T7' notation. I had hoped to use the batteries from my T5 in the new camera but they won't fit. T7 batteries apparently are NOT the same as for the T5. The EOS 2000 takes a different battery size. That's my only complaint. The old lenses from the T5 are totally compatible with the EOS 2000. The auto focus is really unreliable I was hoping for a T7 so that was misleading it had a terrible hesitation between shots and looks clear in the camera but when I uploaded blurry not good I tried to play with settings even reset it and nothing

    • The camera is amazing the accessories are not.
The tripod broke the first week we had it and dropped the camera on the floor. Luckily it didn't damage my camera. Asked for a portion to be refunded to get a new tripod and it never happened.
