Real Canon. Excellent quality prints. Last reasonably well for a photo inkjet. Just use Canon (or Canon recommended) paper and follow Canon recommendations and you will get very nice prints. Inkjet prints dry quickly but take at least 24 hours to "cure". So, if your color mgmt. is good but your prints seem a bit dull or faded... wait at least 24 hours. You will see the difference. Great!!!!!!! I have always used Cannon inkjet cartridges and it was great to see they were less expensive versus buying them at an office supply store. Previously, I had tried a substitute brand but I ended up having to replace the print head. More expensive than buying Cannon inkjet cartridges. Never again. I normally buy all the cartridges at once but I had been forced to buy the black separately a couple months ago. ... show more

    • Canon inks do make nice prints.
This comment is as much about the printer as the ink. It is a great combonition! My printer may be over ten years old but it works well. I use another printer for professional Prints (8x10, 11x14 …) but, for text with an occasional small print this works.

    • Works, great color.
This was great for getting started with my printer although my MX-922 printer also needs a large black cartridge that does not come in this set. This set only has 4 cartridges, the three colors and one small black cartridge. I presume there are some printers that don't need the large black cartridge so that is why it was not included with the set. I bought my printer and this together as a bundle with the understanding I was going to be getting a set of ink cartridges to replace each one I would need, but not so much. Still the inks I did get work, so I can't be too angry with the ink. My ire should go with the bundle process at check out that they didn't suggest the extra cartridge I'd also need. ... show more

    • Shouldn't have believed "next day delivery" promise.
OEM ink has great color and easy on printer. Sadly, Amazon advertised next day delivery, but failed. Not a good policy to advertise and not deliver. Unlikely to purchase here again.

The canon ink cartridges are pricey. That said: I tried reman and off brand ones and had trouble with several. The Canon cartridges have been trouble-free. My printer is an old MX922
