This paper is extremely good for printing images that don't require a glossy look to them. -- I print reproduction art that i have drawn over the years, and the paper's matte quality blows the regular photo paper i use out of the water. I will say, it does take time to get used to the paper's single sided quality. (The brightest side of the paper is the printable matte side, and the back side is an off-white/beige (This side is printable, but will be very muted and mottled) -- (The best way to tell if you have the paper facing the right way, is to take 2 pages and flip one around; look to see which side of the paper is the brightest. ... Or print and find out...) Before you start printing, you may want to adjust your printer's settings to get the best results for the paper. You can normally do this by printing an image on the paper, then gauging if you need to make it darker or lighter or tweak any other options you have. *Important side note: The setting(s) below may require more ink to be used, and will be slow to print* ( Printing with the printer's "Media Type: Photopapers> Matte Photo Paper *Print Quality: Standard*) - Or equivalent setting will improve the image quality a lot, This setting basically tells the printer to add more ink to the paper than normal because of the paper type (ink will soak into the page, where as with glossy photo paper, the ink "sits" on top of the page, so glossy photo paper doesn't need as much ink) Print speed will be slow with this setting as the printer will print in tighter lines (good results do take time) - I wouldn't change the print quality from standard, though; as if you print in "High" it just takes more time to print and doesn't look any different. - ( I wouldn't use this print setting on the backside of the paper however, it will print too dark and it won't look as good, so print with the regular "Media Type: Plain Paper" setting if you're printing on the back of the paper.) (I tend to print darker, deep rich shades of color with this paper. I use a word processor (WPS); for all of the printing i do.) I do plan on purchasing more in the future, the price is fabulous, and the quality is great ... show more

Definitely test both sides of the paper to get the best quality print. The bottom picture was printed on the wrong side and I think you can see that in the quality of the Pic. Great value for my money, dries instantly with the matt finish and a no trainer easy to use. Fits my Canon pixma printer perfectly. ... show more

    • There's protection sheets on the ends guys
So I bought these a few months ago amazed at the price. Last week I took the top sheet to print and was surprised at how absolutely thick it was, barely running through my printer. HOWEVER, after printing some more today I came to realize that was a protection sheet! They have one on either end. The rest of the paper is thinner, 45 lb, matte photo paper, like it says on the package. Some people in the reviews have thought that its a scam, the two sheets were the only actual photo paper and the rest is cardstock. But I disagree. The paper on the inside is the real photo paper, not cardstock, and it prints like matte photo paper. It also prints beautifully, as long as you print on the right side. The right side is smooth while the other is more porous in the light, but honestly it is difficult to tell with the naked eye. I think perhaps they could be packaged better to make the print side and the protection sheets more obvious to consumers. On the plus side.. If you can get the protection sheets through your printer, they come out beautifully as well! ... show more

I was looking for a heavy duty vibrant paper I could print customizable school supplies for our homeschool classroom. I had designed these alphabet cards on Canva months ago but I have a pretty basic printer so I knew I was limited in terms of quality. I didn’t want to spend tons on cardstock/ photo paper just to have it not work correctly with my printer. I was thrilled for find this pack from a brand I trust (Canon) at a very affordable price. I am impressed with the quality. While I’m still newb and my printer doesn’t do borderless printing so I had to cut freehand, the images came out vibrant and the paper is sturdy.     • Very Thin, Almost Not Photo Paper?
I got this paper on sale so it isn't a big loss. It was a great deal but it's worth noting, this paper is very thin. And the fact that it's Matte makes it almost just feel like 45lb thick normal printer paper. If it was a little thicker it would be much better. Or even this thin but glossy it would feel more like photo paper. This feel like normal paper. Will not be buying again. ... show more
