Works well and heats quickly! And I am so happy to have hot showers that last more than 3 minutes. I have an older camper and it turned out needed to use an AC adapter with the unit instead of wiring to my battery. If you wire it up to the battery and it isn’t working, use an AC power line to wire a plug, then plug in the AC adapter that outputs 12V and connect the unit to the adapter cord. To my electrical nerds, I know it doesn’t make sense that a battery putting out 13V doesn’t power the unit but the workaround with an adapter does, but that’s what fixed my problem. First unit I received I thought was defective. It took about two weeks from reaching out to customer service to receive a replacement unit. During install that’s when we finally worked out an adapter was needed. The original unit works just fine with the AC adapter set up. All that aside, installation is pretty easy and the unit heats quickly and steadily. I would recommend this product.

It seems like there are a dozen of the same type of RV hot water heaters, from well known brands to very unknown brands.. they all look like they do the same thing. I was worried about quality, so I bought what I think was the best bang-for-the-buck.. it’s been awesome. Easy to install, good value.

We love this tankless water heater for our camper. It is made with quality. Our camper is 12 years old and the previous tank only lasted for a 5 minute shower. Now we can take super long hot showers without worrying about running out of hot water. I love how we can control the temperature for each individual before taking a shower. It was simple to install and there are no leaks. The pressure is also really good.

Sometimes the true character of a company is more clearly indicated by the company's response to problems than could ever be revealed when everything works perfectly. When I purchased and installed this Camplux tankless water heater, it would not turn on. Camplux technicians worked tirelessly to identify and fix the problem. Camplux provided a replacement remote controller for free and when the problem persisted,Camplux provided a replacement heater, again for free. In the end the technicians solved the problem. It turned out that the current provided by my RV was inadequate and that the product was not defective. I now have the best uninterrupted showers I ever experienced in an RV. It is a great product, but perhaps more important, Camplux (and its skilled technicians) represents the every best of American business.

unit was pretty easy to install, included the door,unlike many of the other models. Fan stopped working after a week, kept getting E5 error. Called customer service, all you can talk to is a "Service Advisor" which was no help at all. Said I need to send an email with a photo of the E5 error, which would take who knows how long to get answered, while having no hot water to do dished or take shower. Ended up calling Amazon support, who generated a a return and ordered a different companies unit, which works even better than this one. Would not buy again, mainly due to poor customer service.
