I purchased this tent for camping in what's left of our summer! We decided to do an impromptu camping trip so I ordered this tent. It's a two person tent and it's really easy to set up. It didn't take much time at all, since the included instructions were clear and precise. This came with all the parts and everything you need to set it up. It doesn't take up much room in the trunk, either! It's also an all weather and 4 season tent so it's ultra waterproof and keeps the heat in! The snow skirt keeps out rain and snow, but can be lifted for ventilation and air flow during summertime. This has 3 doors and 2 windows so it's very easy to sleep in as well as get in and out of. It even has a lantern hook! The double stitched seams are strong and waterproof and are also secured with a double thick fabric tape to ensure nothing is getting inside, as well as strength and durability. This tent is an excellent value for the money. It offers several premium features that make it stand out against other products in the price range. First, there are two doors, and a full fly. Thi pole design is very sturdy and would stand up well in poor weather. There is good ventilation and the interior space is well organized. Also it comes with high quality tent stakes. I am not so sure how well the fabric will hold up to repeated use or how water poof it actually is. But for a short weekend trip in good weather it was great. It seemed a little smaller than other 2 person tents — I have an original sierra designs tent that seems to be the prototype for this one and this one is a little smaller, though still good for one person. This tent worked out for me. So while I would invest in a more proven brand if I were going on a two week backwoods trip, this was fine for leisure camping and the well thought out features made it worthwhile. ... show more

On sale for 40 bucks. I use it for motorcycle camping. Includes ground sheet, above average quality and weather performance, aluminum spider pole system, small pack size, bigger than expected when set up, not too terribly heavy and the storage bag is a dry bag? Wow. I almost feel like I riped off the company at 40 bucks. Now all of that at full price? Still a hell of a deal. I've spent 3+ times what the full price of this tent is and have gotten garbage, and I had to buy the ground sheet separately. No lose threads, great stitching and everything that needs to be seam taped is. Only complaint, happens with higher end and more expensive tents too, is the stakes. Keep as a backup just in case something happens, but buy better tent stakes. You can get decent sets of aluminum tent stakes on here for pretty cheap. Regardless of what price you get this tent for, it's definitely worth it for being under 100 bucks. If you have bad luck and receive a tent with flaws, send it back for new one. Or return it, get your money back and put it towards a different tent. Regardless of what it is, brand, expected quality or price, you take a chance every time you buy something. ... show more

This tent did exactly what I wanted it to do. It kept us warm and kept cold/snow out. Took it to Colorado to camp out in while hiking 14ers. The first night the temps dropped into the low 40s. When my tent mate and I woke up, we were warm. Which gave us a false sense of the temperature outside. Once we opened it up, we realized just how warm the tent kept us. The second night it snowed an inch and dropped into the high teens. I’ll be honest, it was cold, and warmth in a tent is a combo of bag, sleep pad, and tent. But the tend did a few things for us that night. 1) it did keep the air inside warmer the. Outside by a solid 20 degrees, 2) gave us a space outside the tent due to the awning area to boil water to put in our Nalgene to keep us warm, and 3) held up to a good deal of snow fall. In the end, for a budget 4 season I really do recommend this tent. ... show more
