This tent has an amazing build quality. The time it took for a first time setup with a couple of 50 ish year old folks was amazing; took 1/2 hour to figure it out and set it up! The size was just right for my 6'6" frame with enough room for a queen bed and a table and chairs. From the perspective of overall quality, I've been relatively impressed with this tent. The fabric on the walls and canopy appears capable of surviving many years of periodic outdoor use if cared for properly, and the overall footprint of the tent is HUGE. This can comfortably fit a whole family with cots and supplies and still leave enough room for each person to have a little space of their own, which makes family camping experiences a little easier and a little more comfortable. The only things holding this tent back relate to the quality of some of the peripheral features of the product. First, the zippers aren't the most solid, which leads me to believe we may eventually have an issue with the zippers bending or breaking over time. Additionally, the stakes included with this tent could stand to be more substantial. The stakes are "standard" tent stakes, which feel a little too small for a tent of this size; particularly if there is any chance of windy or stormy weather when outdoors. With all of that in mind, this tent comes in above average, but doesn't rise to the upper echelons of outdoor gear. 4/5 stars, overall! ... show more

Very nice tent but not for 8 people no more than 4 adults or 2 adults and small 3 kids otherwise you will have no space for personal stuff (backpacks and other necessities) if you are over 5'7" than you have no space to store stuff at all if 4 adults share the tent Easy to set up. We needed a tent big enough for 2 adults and several pups in this one tent, we have a separate tent for kiddos. This works really well. It was easy to set up and take down. Fitted us and the dogs easily. But with that said I do not see how 8 adults could fit in here. It would be way to small for that. Otherwise a great tent. It's always a good idea to review comments, suggestions, pros/cons and carefully consider your needs before making a purchase.
