Easy to set up. Roomy inside with good height. Seems well made and seams are straight. Comes with storage/carrying bag, which is very handy. This is listed as a 3 person tent but realistically this is 2 person tent with some room for your gear and to move around a little. The tent was very easy to set up. Doing it alone, it took me less than 10 minutes the first time. The second time I expect that it will take about 5 minutes. Taking it down is easy and if you have space to fold it and roll it back up, it will take a little bit of work to get it to fit back into the storage sack that it come with. The storage sack is definitely not oversized. The bottom of the tent seems durable and has high enough sides to keep out moisture from the ground. There is a good amount mesh on the tent itself so ventilation should not be a problem. I like that it has toggles to hold the rolled up door and window covers instead of having to tie them back. It also has a nice little Velcro opening to run a power cord into the tent if you are camping at an improved site with power hook ups. There is a small plastic ring mounted inside the tent at is peak to hang a light or you can put in the provided gear loft to hold lighter items. This is a fair weather 3 season tent. It is free standing but you should always stake your tent town if possible. This tent comes with more than enough stakes to stake the corners and have a few stakes left over to guy out the rainfly. I would recommend buying a can of waterproofing spray and treating the tent before your first outing. My tent measured 6'6" x 7'6" (not 7"x8") with a peak height if about 55 inches. I could have probably stretched the tent a few inches but as it sat naturally it was slightly smaller than advertised. With the loft installed the peak height is about 52 inches The build quality seems good but you should always set up any new tent at home before going out with it to check for damage, quality and that all of the pieces are there. This tent was listed for about $60 and for a weekend camping trip in good weather, I would recommend this tent at that price. ... show more

I was surprised at just how light this tent is. It's small enough to pack into a little carrying bag that you could easily fit into a decent sized backpack. It only took about 10 minutes to put up with the help of a few very young children. The instructions weren't the easiest to read, but the assembly was pretty self explanatory if you've ever put up a tent like this. Two folding fiberglass poles that feed through over the top in an X pattern to prop it up and then a cover to put on after to help keep the rain out and set up the little entryway awning thing. It does divert the water away from the entry well, so it works as designed there. I'd say the price point is pretty on par with similar tents of this style. My kids can all fit in it easily and it's currently set up behind there swing-set as their own little fort. They're waiting for school to get finished so they can spend the night camping out in the back yard. ... show more
