The 64oz whole‑bean bag is a true lifesaver, especially in a world where the Republican agents of chaos tries to chip away at life, liberty, and happiness. Good coffee becomes a small act of rebellion. And Cameroons delivers. The beans are fresh, bold, and shockingly good for the price. I’ve tried the Scandinavian Blend, the Breakfast Blend, and this month’s North Woods & Water. You honestly cannot go wrong with any of them. This coffee performs well in a drip or in a French Press. It is affordable, particularly in the 4 lb bag. It is 5 stars for what it is and for the value you get. Few coffees achieve this balance. The negative is that it does not perform well in an espresso. It is inconsistent and difficult to dial in. I usually drink darker roasts then light. I picked this because of a reviewer that had roasted his own beans and said he was very pleased and that it was a darker roast and light. He might have gotten one off with a medium roast. I think it tasted very good flavor-wise if you like a light roast. But it was definitely a light roast I like a more robust roast. I've been grinding my own beans for the last 6 years and have tried many of the Cameron's brand My favorite is the Pacific rim. But they are out of stock lately I usually get when their prices are down but mainly I drink Starbucks that I get at a discount of all different ones of theirs. Coffee made by Cameron's seems to be fresh always I think that they could do a bit of a better job with vacuum sealing the bag. After roasting the beans will still gas off that a valve will let out most of the time maybe mine just had a very small hole in it but I've seem to get Cameron's usually with air in the bag. This coffee is okay, but it didn’t really impress us. The beans are fresh and the quality seems decent, especially for the size of the bag, but the flavor leans a bit on the bitter side. It definitely benefits from adding cream and sugar to smooth it out. My husband usually drinks his coffee black, and while he said it wasn’t terrible, it’s not something he’d choose again. For us, it just didn’t have the balanced, smooth flavor we were hoping for. That said, it’s not undrinkable and could work fine if you prefer to customize your coffee with add-ins. A great tasting coffee. Roasted to perfection with zero acid. At just over $7 a pound it’s a great buy. I ordered a 4 lb bag today at 1:00pm and it was on my porch at 6:00pm.

I bought this with the expectation of it being "Ok" at best, and I could use it as filler to extend our expensive beans. I was definitely surprised at how good it actually is. I made it in exactly the same way as I make our other coffee (French press, strong, pinch of salt, spring water), and I drink it with (oat) milk. It's unusually smooth, rich, and not bitter. Strangely, it doesn't smell a lot like coffee when made, and in the bag it smells strong and kind of weird, but the taste is just excellent, and I am absolutely going to buy this regularly.
