Loved this album when I was a DJ back in the 80's. Cameo is a group that had the sound and the groove to make you want to buy all their albums. This album is probably their best one by far, Most of the tracks were enjoyable and very funky, especially "Be Yourself" & "Soul Army",I also enjoyed "Flirt" & the song "Enjoy Your Life".Also rumor had it, that Vanity was the woman on the front cover, still not sure. I give this 10/10

I remember have a perfect copy of this album, like a fool I let a friend borrow this album. He never returned it. I tried to replace it, but it was out of print. Now 10 years later at least I can have it on Mp3.

........... Sorry, I have 2 SHOUT IT OUT on this one....... THIS IS QUITE FRANKLY ONE OF THE BEST FUNK ALBUMS EVER (and I do mean ever)........... & U know what else??? I don't even care that this cd cost me an arm and a leg ($69.74) arriving 4-5 weeks later....... All that matters 2 me is that this CD (import from Japan) finally is a part of my 1,400 CD library...........

Not the strongest Cameo record but a must have for real fans of them and funk in general. You can't beat Denise Matthews on the cover though. The title track and last one leave more to be desired but the rest of the tracks are damn good.

A must have CD... Cameo was one of the hottest funk bands out..... this Album was out when punk music was starting to hit the black night clubs.... But, Cameo kept the groove and the funk and had a smash CD.... Every time the title song Alligator Woman and other songs from this album the in the club the dance floor always stay pack...

This is one of my favorite funk r&b bands. This is a masterpiece .....If the Rolling Stones & Cameo did a remake of..... Alligator Woman the pop charts would explode. A classic if you are a collector "Jump on It"!
