I bought this because my son is in jv football, and varsity. We live in wisconsin and well the weather can get pretty cold lol. Fits great, love the pockets on it, zipper is better than most jackets. The warmth is amazing, I didn't even get a bit chilly while wearing it. I also bought my son the same coat because he liked mine so much. I waited to do the review in order to give a good one. He took water and poured it on his coat and it just ran right off. One way to do it I suppose. You don't feel any wind come through the coat. It's exactly as advertised. I usually buy woman's coats because I'm a woman, but decided to go with a man's coat this year and I'm glad I did. I would highly recommend.

Love the coat. Warm and waterproof for a good price. I had an earlier version of this coat that I adored but had issues with the smallness of the pockets (the 2021 version would not hold a large cell phone in the pocket) - but this one definintely holds a big phone in any of its pockets. The other thing I noticed from the previous year is that the Camel crown logo is not as large or gaudy. Instead it is subdued and more refined. I think this is a better coat in every way. And I challenge you to find a coat that is warm to pretty much around freezing and waterproof, unzippable hoods, and the option to use the hand warmer or stick your hand out of the sleeve like a normal coat. I wound up giving my old coat to a homeless shelter, cuz it still has years of life in it. I can't wait for the wintertime to wear my new coat! You really can't beat the quality for this pricepoint! My only advice is that the coats run a bit large. I am a borderline case, and I rounded up, but the coat is a bit looser than I would have chosen had I both the smaller and larger sizes to choose from. I am happy with my coat, but if I had to do it all over again, I would have rounded down to the smaller size.

This is a great coat, however I purposefully ordered a size up to be safe, but of course it was too big, so I sent it back for a smaller size. It really was a nice coat though. Just for clarification: I ordered a medium when I should have ordered a small. I’m not sure which size I’m reviewing here as they both show up. I’ll just say that if you order the size that you normally wear, you should be happy

Jacket arrived on time and it was a perfect fit. Not real heavy, nice and warm. Would recommend, usually wear medium but got small and it fits really good. Something to think about if you order!

I was 6 weeks in Patagonia during winter using this jacket almost daily: hiking, walking and commuting, I had days that temp dropped to around -10°C (14°F for those who use the imperial system) with very strong weeks, and using a good base layer I stayed toasty, no matter if it was snowing or raining. After 6 weeks of almost daily use it was looking quite dirty, but that is expected. Can't be washed at home. This has been an amazing purchase. For reference I'm 1.70m tall and 100kg Large fitted as a glove.

It's hard to rate, being where I live in Texas won't get "below freezing" until mid-late December....if then! Then go away by end of Feb, IF that lucky! As far as how it looks & feels....I love it!
