1080P FHD Camera One of the main reasons that I bought this camera is the tilting display screen. I normally carry my phone and take videos and photos from my phone. However, if I am behind people or another barrier, when I raise your phone to take a picture, I can no longer see the screen. I struggle with this often when taking photos/videos of people at parties, children that are on the floor, items that are on the top shelf of my office, items low on the ground, etc. Being able to tilt the display screen lets me accurately frame the photo and capture the details. With my phone, I often took 5 or more photos hopoing that one would actually have the subject in it. With this camera, I can see exactly what the photo will look like. My first use of the camera was to take a video and photo inventory of my office and storage closet. First Look - Opening the box, the camera had everything needed to start using it. It is lightweight and fits nicely into my hand. I did connect it to my USB charging block to make sure it was fully charged before starting to use it. While it was charging, I took a few minutes to glance at the user manual. It is not detailed, but gives a nice overview of the features that are available. Usability - Once it was charged, I tried it out. The controls are nicely laid out. The zoom toggle is at the top of the camera and is where your index finger holds the camera. It is very easy to zoom in/out on what you are photographing. When in video mode, the record button is on the back by your thumb so that you can easily start/stop the video recording. It is a very natural position for using. When in photo mode, the trigger is on top of the camera right near the zoom lever and easily used. Picture Quality - In video mode, it does a nice job transitioning from very bright areas to dark areas. The color capture of the videos and pictures in “normal” mode is very good. I was a little concerned that being a fixed focus camera, that any photos and videos taken close to the camera would be blurry. I have found that distant photos are always in focus and near photos are still in focus even when they are only about 10 to 12 inches from the camera lens. I found this very impressive for a fixed focus camera. It is nice not having to focus. While experimenting with the near focus, I took a close up of my computer keyboard and found something else. My keyboard is really dusty and needs a good cleaning. The picture was very clear. Video Quality - I was doing a video walk through my office and found that I needed to slow down when transitioning from one subject to the next. If panning too quickly, there is a bit of blur that can happen. I have not seen it when taking videos of animals and birds outside, or even people when inside. I only saw it when in tight quarters. This was easily solved by not moving the camera so quickly. Screen Display - I had overlooked it in the user manual, but there is an icon in the upper left of the display screen that shows whether the camera is in video mode, photo mode, or playback mode. That instruction is in the manual, but I didn’t read it as carefully as I should have. Once that icon was located, I found recording much easier. Low Light Performance - I was surprised by the image quality improvement when using the built in fill light. It does a nice job of helping with subtle details when taking photos or videos in low light. What was really surprising is its ability to enable photos and video in near dark environments. I turned off the light in the storage closet that I was inventorying and was very surprised that I could still identify boxes and books. It is not as clear as when the lights are on, but it surprised me. The backlight setting really helps. With very bright sunny windows behind the subject, facial details were very nice. As expected, the windows were somewhat overexposed, but the subjects that were the object of the pictures were very clear. Other Notes - I am using the camera to catalogue items in my office and file area. The data/time stamp is very useful for record keeping purposes. The date/time stamp is easily turned off if you do not need it. The pause feature with videos is nice. If taking a sequence of videos that will result in a complete “story”, rather than stopping each video, then stitching them together using a video editor, you can pause the recording, move to another location or set up, then resume the recording. This reduces the amount of time using a video editor. The video is 1080p rather than 4k, but for the purposes of making videos for computer or phone playback it is very nice. Crips details, good color. The display screen has a gauge to show you the amount of digital zoom that you are using. The color band goes from red, to yellow to no color in the meter. When zooming in the no color and yellow band, the resulting picture has no or very little noticeable pixilation. When getting into the red zone, the pixilation is more evident. If the subject that you are zooming to see is small, the pixilation becomes more evident. The pixilation can easily be removed using image editing tools I like that the power meter is very prominent in the display screen. It lets you monitor the battery level when having an extended video session so that you do not run out of power during an important moment. When recording videos, the audio volume level can be a little low. I found that when I was speaking the audio level was acceptable and clear, however when a person that I am videoing is speaking, they can be hard to hear/understand, especially if in a large room or outdoors. Fortunately, the camera has a connection for an external microphone. I am quite pleased with the quality of this camera. It is an EXCELLENT value for the money paid. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Nice little camera, very compact and lightweight. Was very easy to setup and start using is less than a minute once it was charged up and ready to go. Side screen is very clear and to see when film. Zoom is only thing I wish was a little better but most people are likely going to use this on a stand to film themselves or something else closeup anyway. Think it's a good value for the cost and came with the memory card and charging cable to get started.

This camera works great and came with a memory card. It has dual cameras which you can record at the same time. It looks like thise more expensive camera. The quality is good and the size is perfect not too bulky. It has an option to record using the mic or no mic. It also came with a back up battery and charger. A small stand/tripod also came with it. There are two attachments with I believe help blocking sun trays from the side of the camera. The color and quality and lighting seem decent for the price. It was really easy to get started since the battery did come with some charge. No complaints I absolutely love this camera.

This is a great little camera for recording video to post on the web. I got it for items I will post for sale on auction websites. The highest video resolution is only 2.7K at 48MP but you can select from several other lower resolutions - which is nice since there is usually a limit on the size of files I can upload. See attached video for an example of the highest resolution setting. It has a front light built in and can be mounted on a tripod. The video screen flips out and can be twisted for viewing at different angles or all the way around for selfies. There is a cold shoe mount (doesn’t provide power) for things like an external microphone or an additional light. It is light weight and fits nice in your hand with a strap. Video format is AVI and photo format is JPG which are common formats for compatibility. The zoom is digital only (no optical zoom) up to 18x. It comes with a 32gb memory card but it can support up to 128gb. Also comes with a USB-A to USB-C cord for charging and transferring image files to a computer. There are lots of video and photo effects you can choose from and lots of settings to meet your needs. Overall, this is a nice inexpensive video camera for web posting. Or it could be a good starter camera for youngsters to learn and experiment with.

This camcorder has been a really enjoyable little camera, especially if you like the look and feel of dedicated digital video/photo gear instead of always using a phone. I mainly use the front camera for photos, and I really like the overall digital style it gives images—clean, sharp enough for casual use, but with a fun camcorder character that feels different from smartphone photos. The flip touchscreen makes framing easy, and the included accessories are a nice bonus since it feels ready to use right away with the SD card, batteries, microphone, remote, and bag. The night vision and zoom features add extra flexibility, and the controls are simple enough to learn quickly. It is best treated as a fun creator/casual camcorder rather than a professional cinema camera, but for vlogging, family clips, photos, and creative everyday recording, it has a lot of charm and good value.

So far I am enjoying the camcorder I'm still working with it and checking it out the only thing that I saw an issue with is like the frame where you're supposed to attach the camera to it makes it very hard to take the battery out to change it out if you needed to do so quickly I really haven't got to use it a whole lot but what I have got to use it for it has done very well easy assembly and I'm hoping that I learned more about it I'm trying to work with the lighting it has plenty of features the handpiece is adjustable on the side to hold the camera but it's kind of awkward but I'm definitely pleased with it and I will continue to work with it I just wish the framing part of it that you see where it sits on it was made differently but it is compact it is so far been durable and we'll update more later
