This thing is amazing. To start let me say, it is way worth more than what it costs. It’s saves you money in the long run, easy to use and follow directions (make sure to follow the direction) long as you do that it will last you long as you have your camper. It fits very nice and tight on your discharge so no leaks and this thing has the power of I don’t know what..:: a serious grinder. It will chop some stuff up quick. It is super powerful. It’s stable long as you follow directions again very important and durable. You will not regret getting this. If you really have the extra money and want to upgrade look at the cordless battery power Camco makes. Same thing same power but battery powered. I had to add a pic of the battery operated one also. The other amazing thing about these thing is not just the product, it’s the customer service. I had to call about it once and they were 100% on the money and did everything to ensure I was set up and knew what to do. ... show more

    • Amazing Pump!

I hesitated to spend this much on this pump when there are other less expensive options, but I've learned too many times that you get what you pay for. This pump is amazing! Didn't leak a drop and pumped out my black and grey tanks quickly and effortlessly. I highly recommend getting the 2' hose and 45 degree adapter as shown in my photos. I think the weight of the pump is too much to hang on the end of the plastic drain pipes and I've read reviews of broken fittings caused by the stress and vibration of the pump hanging on the pipe. The short hose is a simple, cheap fix! ... show more

    • Burned up after 2 uses
Review Image by malaqua

Bought less than 2 years ago, but it was only used 2 times total. Worked great at first, pumped the black tank contents on my RV through a 3/4" hose about 50 feet with a very slight incline. Also pumped out my black tank into a bladder in the back of my truck and it worked fine. The third time, it wouldn't prime and after a couple of minutes I gave up and pulled it off to find the inside of the hose outlet fitting coated with a black carbon-like substance. I can only assume this is what remains of the impeller. The bolts holding it together are probably metric, which I have tools for but are located in such a way that I have yet to figure out a way to get on them to take the macerator apart. Highly disappointed that an expensive item such as this lasted such a short time. Duty cycle on this is 5 minutes on, 10 minutes off so it is extremely slow to pump out a full black tank but I could live with that if if would have held up. As such, I can't recommend this. ... show more

    • Chews effluent like it’s hungry
This pump has all the accessories included to get started. It seems pretty durable, I’ve ran it for long periods of time and it didn’t get too hot. It’s certainly not super quick, (at least in my application; 100 feet of garden hose slightly up hill to tie into an existing clean out) but it absolutely gets the job done. Seems to be a good value for the price. I think stepping up to a better quality hose like the short one that’s included would help the speed in my application ... show more

    • I had to deal with a leak.
The Rhino macerator pump by Camco is a great match for my Class B RV. There is a persistent leak of fresh water (if properly used) between the pump and the plastic fitting where the backflow preventer is installed. This connection contains a wire filter embedded in a rubber washer. That washer is not sufficient to tighten the joint so that it doesn’t leak. I’m OK with this condition for now because I added a second rubber washer which allowed me to tighten it quite a bit more. It isn’t perfect, so my primary workaround is to just use the black tank flush that’s built into my RV. ... show more

    • Camco RV sewage macerator pump
When I open the box and begin to remove the product, I picked up the pump and I knew that I had purchased a quality item. I hooked everything up. I’ve only used the pump once, but it was flawless. Only wish I had known about these pumps earlier, I would’ve definitely had one. It makes the job of dumping so easy. I have the cam code 37 gallon tote tank in the bed of my truck. I simply connect the pump to my RV and the hose to the tank and pump it right up into the bed of my truck take it to the dump station and dump it. It’s also gonna be great at home for cleaning out my tanks and letting everything go into the sewer at home thanks Camco another great product. ... show more

    • What a great product from Rhino!!
One of the best purchases I have ever made. Solved a multitude of problems for us and allows us to “moochdock” at my in-laws without any issue. Well designed and easy to use. Just make sure to read and follow the wiring directions so you don’t cross them. They are color-coded.
