I'm new to the RV world, and let us say I'm a bit dumb with it comes to what I need. I purchased a used RV, that didn't come with a power cord. Silly me didn't know that there was a difference in power and extension cord. I bought this, and it arrived the day I was to go camping only to realize that I couldn't plug in to my RV. To say I panicked a bit, is an understatement. Luckily while I was driving to where I was going I found an RV store. I was able to cut off the end and put on a new end to make it a power cord. Which, actually overall, ended up being cheaper than buying a power cord this length. Go figure So overall, I'll give this cord a solid rating.     • Well made and heavy duty.
Even though I've not yet checked the functionality, this RV extension cable seems to be well made. Although this would not be needed in most cases it could be a game changer. Should the power source be just a bit too far away a disaster could be avoided and become a happy camping event.

Just what I needed.. I like the fact that it is easy to plug and unplug. Special features are to plug and unplug it made it easy..... I have spent as much as $100 for this same cord that did not have the easy plug and unplug at a RV supply store.

My husband spent over $150 at the local camping store on an extension cord like this. He looked on Amazon and saw how well rated this was and decided to try this out so he could take back the other one. This cord works great for us! No complaints and it saved us money. Who doesn’t love that?

First time I used this, instead of the 50amp cable, the pedestal was too far away; I needed (2) of these together to reach. Whats not to like, it works; the connector prongs are long enough to hold it into pedestal.
