I love the markings on the side which allow me to know exactly when the dough has doubled (instead of trying to remember how tall it was when I started). I've also been pleased with how non-stick they are naturally. I always grease the inside before adding dough, but there have been times when the dough rose to the lid before I got back, and the lid has come off without any mess or problem. The square containers are a good, heavy duty plastic with tight fitting lids. They are clear enough to easily see what is in them. They stack well and fit into the corners of my pantry. I feel they are a real space saver. I bought several sizes of the round containers from Cambro before I saw the square ones. These are the perfect kitchen size, sturdy and close nicely but I still need a jumbo for big meal prep items… don’t want to pay the outrageous shipping for a 12 quart.
