Better than the factory carb. The hardest part was hooking up the throttle to the handle bar. With this carburetor there are not vacuum lines. It is as simple as mounting to the engine, attaching the throttle cable, and you are ready to go. The idle setting is MUCH better as it is easy to reach and has a finger knob for adjustment. All I did was move the idle setting about 1/4 turn and that was it. Started up the first time and purred. I will definitely purchase another one when the time comes. The unit was put on a 2005 Honda Recon.

Bought this after reading all the great reviews in regards to value and simplicity of installation. Installed it without any major issues. There was a hose from old carb that had no port on new carb. It turns out it was a air intake that’s not needed on new carb. Was a little skeptical not hooking it up. However, the quad started right up. Adjusted idle and off I went. No sputtering just quick response to throttling. Saved a bit of money and time buying this carb for my Honda Trx sportrex 250. Hopefully it holds up over time.

I am very impressed with the quality of this carb compared to the OEM given how cheap it is relative to the OEM. I just installed mine this morning so I may have to write another review in 6 months to check in, but first impression was excellent. Quality. Easy install. Fired right up. No issues. The only thing I'd say, is make sure you hold onto the 2x 10mm nuts that held your old carb on, because even though this comes preassembled and ready with all o-rings and gaskets etc, it does not come with new nuts for install. If you don't have the old ones, get some of these too so you'll have them for the install. No biggy.

I have a 2002 klx250ex I measured and remedied the inlet, engine and mounting studs finally decided on this one. It fit right on and everything fit just right. Then I started it right up and the quad runs great. I think I will order the petcock for the fuel tank I should have ordered that at yhe same time I have a dirty screen.

I can not fault this item nor the Sellers as their description is spot on. Amazon's "Inspired by" with listings across the bottom was where I went wrong as well as I had a rough time getting the correct 4 wheeler listed, Amazon needs to work on that and drop this stupid Inspired By stuff and keep it as it once was, on point. The Fuel line is like the one I bought from Ebay and small, not as large as factory, but maybe that is correct. This will not fit a 2005 Honda Recon 250 2 x 4. Save yourself the trouble and either buy a rebuild kit or head to Ebay and buy a better one.

I have a 2000 Honda Recon 250 that needed a new carburetor. I was ready to trade it in on a new one but decided to order this replacement and give it a try. I’m 100% satisfied. In fact this four wheeler has never ran better. It came with a new throttle cable but I was able to use my factory one with no issues. I am no mechanic but was able to inbox the carb and install it in under 30 minutes. I recommend I’m this item to anyone who is having carb issues. Worth every penny.

Little bit skeptical at this price, but it worked great. Much better than what I expected. Included throttle cable, in-line fuel filter, and easily adjustable idle screw (thumb wheel instead of stock carb needing a screwdriver). With old carb the ATV was really hard to get started and wouldn’t stay idling very well, hot or cold. I’m sure old carb was gummed up somewhere but instead of a rebuild kit and cleaning tools you can practically get this complete carb for the same price. Installed and it fired up immediately. Runs great, no need to adjust anything. I say a great deal overall!
